2013 was the year that Jennifer Aniston decided to undergo fertility treatments in order to get pregnant. As the media speculated about her weight gain and jumped to the almost logical conclusion that Jen was finally pregnant we all eventually realized that there was no baby. In fact over the holidays Jen was photographed on a trip to Mexico looking thinner and fitter than ever. While the fertility treatments may have failed, that doesn’t mean that Jen’s baby dream is completely dashed.
Instead she has simply changed gears according to the Feb. 10th print edition of In Touch magazine. Jen has come to terms with the idea that she’s unlikely to have a baby on her own and so she is now seriously looking into having a surrogate make her baby dream come true. Sources say that it’s a decision Jen would have come to sooner but Justin Theroux wasn’t sold on it at all. He really wanted to try and have a baby the old fashioned way and didn’t want to resort to medical miracles to have a child. The two have been at odds for months but supposedly now Justin seems to be ready to welcome a surrogate into the mix if it means that they are parents.
Do you think that Jen and Justin are really in a position to provide stability for a child with their relationship being so hot and cold? If Jen wants to use a surrogate would it be wiser for her to approach the whole situation as a single-mom-to-be? That way if things with Justin fall apart completely then her whole life wasn’t built around his participation.
