Joan Rivers Remains In Critical Condition After Minor Throat Surgery - Fully Reliant On Machines To Stay Alive!

Joan Rivers, after undergoing a fairly simply throat procedure/surgery, was rushed to the hospital Thursday after she stopped breathing. The famous comedienne, who has made a name for herself being abrasive and uncensored in all facets of her life, is 81 years old and is currently being kept alive via life support. Apparently, her family will have to make the decision within the coming days whether or not to take Rivers off life support. However, if they do make that decision to take her off life support, the family’s optimistic that she’ll pull through and bounce back.

It was shocking news to hear that Joan was in the hospital. While the famous figure is old, sure, I suppose she’s just one of those people/names we expect to be around forever. We wish her and her family all the best as they undergo this medical scare. Hopefully, Joan will bounce back and return to her Fashion Police throne, where she rips every celebrity who dares to walk that red carpet a new one.

As we reported a couple days ago when the news broke, “The 81-year-old Rivers hasn’t had any major health complications since her osteoporosis diagnosis more than a decade ago. She’s gone on the record about her health, stating that she eats healthy, exercises, and keeps herself fit and active. Up until now, she seemed to be the picture of robust health, with nary a major health problem. For someone that’s crossing 80 years old, that’s a huge achievement.”
