Forget what you heard, it was Karrueche Tran that kicked womanizing Chris Brown to the curb. Not the other way around. While at first it was thought that Chris had broken up with Karrueche because he still had feelings for Rihanna, sources familiar with the situation say that this time around things were different. After years of public humiliation, there was finally a straw to break Karrueche’s petite little back. We all know home girl is tougher than she looks, so you got to be wondering what happened that prompted Karrueche to chuck up the deuces to C Breezy.
It may come as a surprise to you but it was a simple text message (or two or three) that Karrueche found in Chris’s phone that set her off. (Side note: You may recall that it was a text message that Rihanna found in Chris’s phone that led to the epic Grammy night domestic violence scuffle.) The messages were allegedly from random jump offs that Chris refused to cut contact with and it set Karrueche off.
According to TMZ: “Karrueche saw Chris’ phone during her visit—and it was filled with inappropriate texts from other girls. It was the last straw. We’re told Karrueche was especially pissed because she’d been nothing but supportive to Chris throughout his ordeal, even going to court with him.”
Mind you, Karrueche cut CB off before he was kicked out of rehab and sent to the slammer for violating his probation stemming from his conviction for the Rihanna Grammy beat down in 2009. Why was he kicked out of rehab you ask? Aside from refusing a drug test after returning from an approved outing and making inappropriate comments regarding weapons during a rehab group therapy session, C Breezy violated specific rules in place that forbade him from having close contact with other women patients at the rehab facility. Well, Chris didn’t just touch a girl’s elbow; he reportedly had a threesome with two other ladies at the rehab facility!
Your boy Chris Brown is troubled and if you are the praying type, you should go on and send one up for him. Who the heck has a threesome in rehab? Poor Karrueche. Good thing ol’ girl dumped him before she found out about the threesome. If she had any doubts about her decision then, they should be cleared from her mind now. Clearly Chris was all up in his feelings about the situation too, as he sent out a tweet last week that said “KAE will always be my heart. That ain’t changing.” (Now, for some reason, the tweet has been removed.) Talk about tragic love.
It is real easy to dislike Chris Brown right now. Lets all try to keep in mind that he is battling some fierce personal demons right now. He has hurt everyone close to him. Rihanna and Karrueche were not the only ones who suffered due to his actions; Chris has even been volatile towards his own mother. Remember he got into trouble at rehab for throwing a rock at his mom’s car. This guy has serious anger issues and we here at CDL truly hope he can resolve them before he hurts anyone else or himself. At his best, he is a gifted musician and it is sad to see true talent go to waste.
Having said all that; Karrueche, girl, good for you! You tried to see the best in Chris and deep down, maybe he’s still a good spirit. However, you gotta look out for you and love yourself enough to not allow anyone to treat you bad or wrong. Chris has basically been giving you salt and calling it sugar, pissing on you and calling it rain. It is about time you put your foot down and took a stance. Hopefully we won’t see you right back with him. Take a cue from Rihanna, girl. Live YOUR life, Kae. It is about time you stop being his concubine anyway, it wasn’t a good look.
