Kerry Washington’s marriage last summer to Nnamdi Asomugha came as a total surprise to everyone, including her closest friends. We know that she is very tight lipped about her personal life but a few months after they swapped vows it became pretty obvious that Kerry had a bun in the oven. What has been bizarre is the fact that Asomugha is rarely ever seen with his now very pregnant wife. She has attended several award shows alone and he was in NYC for a Super Bowl party when Kerry’s birthday rolled around. Asomugha has hardly been the kind of husband that dotes on his pregnant wife. Hell, he seems to usually be in a different part of the country in spite of having his NFL career sacked.
CDL was the first to speculate that this is more a marriage of friendship and comfort than it is a love match and now it seems like others seem to be catching on as well. According to a source of MTO’s Kerry is gay and loves women but settled in with Asomugha because she really wanted to have a baby. He realized this in recent months and it’s one of the reasons that he is often MIA. Apparently Asomugha is very religious and homosexuality would go against his personal beliefs which is kind of ironic when you consider the multitude of rumors that have circulated about him being on the DL.
