According to reports from Australia Angelina Jolie not only snubbed the butt-baring, sex-tape selling, soon to be divorced Kim Kardashian from her movie premiere but she actually banned Anna Wintour’s biggest mistake from being seen anywhere near her! This has got to be one of the more entertaining stories to come out of Hollywood all week. So you guys all know how Angelina Jolie has been premiering her new film Unbroken everywhere, right? And you know how Kim Kardashian thinks she’s a proper celebrity that deserves an invitation everywhere? Well, apparently Kim Kardashian tried to get an invite to the Australian premiere of Unbroken, but she got DENIED.
The world premiere was held in Sydney on Wednesday, but an Australian website named ‘The Fix’ reported that Angelina Jolie ‘personally banned‘ Kim Kardashian from the guest list. Personally… banned…. How awesome is that?
The Fix’s source claims that Kim ‘begged’ for tickets to the premiere, largely because she was desperate for a ‘get-together with Brad and Angelina’. And once again, Kim Kardashian’s delusion strikes. She thinks that just because she sold several copies of her sex tape and made headlines for posing nude this week, she’s suddenly at the top of every event guest list. But thankfully, we have REAL celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to bring her down to earth.
The source also adds that Kim was reportedly in town for a Vogue shoot, explaining, “Angie’s people told Kim to buzz off and that Angie didn’t want to socialise with Kim or do a photo op in Australia with her. Kim was crushed.”
I don’t doubt it. Kim Kardashian no doubt fashions herself some sort of hail mary savior of reality television and new media, and it’s moments like this that tell her that her true position in this world ain’t all that. We should just be glad that people like Brangelina exist, because their breed of movie star is slowly becoming extinct – all the while Kim’s breed of celebrities continues to grow and grow.
