Kristen Stewart‘s new video ad for Balenciaga Rosabotanica has already gone viral, after making its debut on the Internet this morning. The ad’s definitely more revealing than most of Kristen’s previous ads, with her topless and covered in flowers.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Kristen explained the thought process behind the ad, adding, “It’s very much in keeping with the story in the first one. It was very fresh. It was really clean, and very bare, in your face. And in this it’s a little bit more lived in.”
Kristen’s clearly very involved in the conceptualization and visualization of these ads, which makes the aesthetic a lot more understandable. Kristen’s style has always been edgy and sexy, and that’s clearly reflected in these ads. Of course, there’s also the little fact that these ads will be all over the net and on billboards across the country, which means that Robert Pattinson will probably see them.
Oh, but of course Kristen doesn’t think about stuff like that. Of course. That’s not why she would make these ads so sexy, showing so much skin. Nope, not at all.
Seriously though, our sources tell us that while Kristen always maintains her artistic integrity, she does know that Rob will probably see these ads. Whether she admits or not, I’m sure there’s a part of her that hopes he sees the ad and realizes what he’s missing. They dated three years, those feelings won’t just vanish. And trying to make him miss her is pretty much the only thing she has in her favor, especially if she’s still trying to get him back.
