Olympic ice skating gold medallist Meryl Davis danced a Swing, on tonight’s season 18 episode 2 of Dancing with the Stars. The show kicks off with a show-stopping opening number choreographed by Mandy Moore featuring the entire cast followed by an announcement that is not to be missed! On tonight’s show each couple will perform a dance style of the celebrities choosing including Swing, Tango, Jive, Salsa, Samba, Rumba and the Cha Cha. The couples face the first nerve-racking round of elimination. Additionally, “The Switch Up” begins and voting guidelines will be revealed live. For the first time ever, America will be given the power to vote and change celebrity and professional dance pairings.
On last episode Meryl performed a Cha Cha Cha and Len loved it saying, “I tell you, you are nice on ice but good on wood.”

JUDGES COMMENTS: Len: “I tell you what you were swinging, fantastic, well done. That was great music, it was great dancing.” Bruno: “That was really a swinging, acrobatic dance. The level of dancing was incredible. You made a couple of mistakes, but that was because it was difficult.” Carrie Ann: “I have to say Meryl you have Max working his butt off and it is so great to see. I really appreciated your athleticism. You are a star in these athletic programs.”
