Mob Wives: New Blood Spoilers - Producer Jennifer Graziano Dishes On Karen Gravano, Casting Changes And Drita D’Avanzo’s Spinoff

When Season 4 of Mob Wives: New Blood premiered on VH1, the new cast was met with mixed reviews. While some fans were excited about the Philly additions, Natalie Guercio and Alicia DiMichele, other long-time Mob Wives fans were not pleased. The general consensus seemed to be that Natalie and Alicia were “replacing” the old cast members, and a lot of fans wanted Karen Gravano back on the show.

In a recent interview with Buzz Feed TV, Jennifer Graziano the creator and producer (coincidentally also the sister of Renee Graziano), dished on the casting switch-up before Season 4 aired. According to Gravano, VH1 didn’t replace any of the Mob Wives. Karen Gravano, Carla Facciolo, Ramonoa Rizzo and Love Majewski opted not to show up to filming for the fourth season because they were unhappy about their contracts with VH1. Apparently Gravano, Facciolo, Rizzo, and Majewski wanted more money for Season 4, and VH1 wasn’t shelling it out. Graziano told Buzz Feed TV that she actually called Gravano multiple times and asked her to come for filming, but Gravano never showed up. According to Jennifer, “They were looking for more money as they can and rightfully should. I don’t have final decisions on all of this. There wasn’t any room for negotiation.”

Jennifer Gravano also dished on the rumors of Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo getting her own spinoff series, and she confirmed there are current conversations being held regarding the spinoff and it is definitely a possibility.

Isn’t it ironic that half the cast of Mob Wives couldn’t even get raises, but Drita D’Avanzo is scoring her own spinoff reality TV show? Are you excited about Drita’s new show, or would you have liked to see a different Mob Wives star on her own series?
