Paula Patton Living With 25-Year-Old Musician Boyfriend Zak Waters, Moves Boytoy Into Her Home

Well, Paula Patton obviously has a “type.” Mere months after Paula Patton kicked now-estranged husband Robin Thicke to the curb, she’s filed for divorce and moved her new boyfriend in with her. Patton, 38, began babysitting, er, “dating” 25-year-old boytoy musician Zak Waters, only a few months ago but she’s apparently smitten enough to have moved her new boyfriend into her home as evidenced from pics he posted online from Patton’s Calabasas home with the caption “my new view,” reports Radar Online.

Paula may be setting herself up for trouble, however, in starting a new relationship with a struggling musician. Zak Waters is becoming more well-known, even recently named an “up-and-coming musician under 25 to keep on your radar” by GuestofaGuest.com, but he certainly hasn’t reached superstardom yet. Not only is he very young, but he doesn’t have a great deal of money. Paula Patton is beautiful, but terribly insecure. She had been with Thicke so long that she is not used to being alone and wasn’t ready for that. She dove right in to this relationship, without really considering the situation she was putting herself in. Prior to Thicke hitting it big with the song Blurred Lines, he was virtually an unknown as well. Once Blurred Lines was released, he was everywhere and loving all the attention especially from women. After being fed up with Thicke’s serial flirting and alleged cheating, Paula finally summoned the courage to move on. She foolishly chose another young, struggling, good-looking musician though! Doesn’t this woman ever learn? Let’s hope he doesn’t come out with a uber-successful break-out hit as Thicke did, or we may be forced to hear another sappy tribute to Ms. Patton, begging for a second chance as Thicke did in an effort to win her back.

Thicke and Patton, married for nine years, share a four-year-old son and a whole lot of history—they started dating as teens. Thicke, no doubt, is kicking himself again over losing Paula. Her new man is just salt in the wound for the disgraced singer/songwriter who says Patton left him after he admitted he’d been abusing drugs, though many say it was Thicke’s flirting and cheating that did the couple in.

Perhaps Thicke should stick around just in case things don’t work out with Patton’s rebound boy toy.

Okay, CDLers…what do you think of this new guy? Is he using her, just having fun, or truly in love? Let us know your thoughts.
