Phaedra Parks Learns Apollo Nida Could Face Life Sentence: Prepares To Testify Against Him

What is that saying? The way that you get your husband is how you’ll lose him? It looks like there may be a whole lot of truth to that theory for The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks! Girlfriend first represented her husband, Apollo Nida during his racketeering trial years ago and after he spent five years in prison the two married pretty quickly. My guess is that she was initially hoping that her husband had changed his ways but as we learned last week, he’s the same old shady guy she first met.

According to the Feb. 10th print edition of Life & Style magazine Apollo surrendered to police after being charged with identity theft and bank fraud and while he has been released on bail, ultimately if convicted he could be looking at life in prison. This obviously raises a whole bunch of questions. A big one is whether or not Phaedra will also be charged. Apollo hardly seems like the brains behind the operation here but she on the other hand, is smart. She’s also an attorney and would know how to dance around the legalities in order to guide Apollo’s now-failed scam.

Phaedra had stopped practicing law in order to focus on being a mortician. Do you think she’ll put herself back in the courtroom to defend her husband and if so, will she watch him go back to prison? Sources close to her say that she is in total denial and is insisting things are fine and that the charges can be fought. Phaedra just doesn’t want to admit that her family is at risk. Do you think they’ll both be in a heap of trouble before the dust settles? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
