Last week’s episode left off with Abe and his Rebecca disavowing his brother but can they really keep up such a separatist attitude with his wedding right around the corner?

Well, they were going to at least try. Take Rebecca as an example. She’s shifted her focus to solely on her friends. Sabrina’s new baby is a beloved addition to their group and Rebecca wanted to honor that by throwing her a belated baby shower. Sabrina doesn’t have family or even her mom to turn to at this point in her life and that has left her somewhat bereft of the essentials.

She’s without many things she’s going to need and the baby shower was a great idea. It was very considering of Sabrina’s feelings. Yet the otherside to this seemingly great personality is what she and her husband did to Andy. Andy is feeling betrayed that his own brother never once doubted the rumors about him. Abe and Rebecca merely cut him off because they didn’t like hearing rumors. And never once did they come out and ask him if they were true. But it’s Andy that’s looking for a way to repair that relationship as if he should beg them for affection.

Andy arranged a lunch for all them. He was tired of the fights and he just wanted peace in the family so he told he’s changed and that left the ball in their court. Abe and Rebecca apologized for the sticking their nose into his business (like when they told Chapel they felt sorry for her) and they now say they want to support Andy for his upcoming big day.

And Andy needs people who care about him around. Especially during Chapel’s illness. He’s taking care of Chapel and it’s taking a toll on him. When Matt arrived to fit for his custom suit – Andy was practically falling asleep on his feet.

Then there’s Jeremiah. Kate finally confronted him about all the things he said about her when her back was turned. She was sick of him dumping on her success when they both know she worked hard for it. And anyways Jeremiah can claim all he wants that she only got contracts because she was getting a hand up but he can never provide proof for his theory.

Frankly, Jeremiah doesn’t care much for his own self. He has a low opinion about himself and that goes all the way back to leaving the Amish. Out of all of them he’s the only one that has never settled in the English world. That’s why after everything he’s yet find a home. Though the courts are going to force him to stay in one location longer than it normally takes to wear out his welcome.

Jeremiah left Mary’s house soon after his fight with Kate. He left there and decided to return home where he was then promptly was brought in by authorities for disorderly conduct. So you see Jeremiah is his own worst enemy.

He did get ended up getting discharged and surprisingly after he was released he realized he couldn’t keep living his life like this – wandering from one place to another. So he set his mind on finding a home and he knows where he wants this home to be. Jeremiah returned to Mary and Chester’s house. He wants them to be his family and more than that he’s willing to work for it – Jeremiah wants to return to Amish.

The English world has never done anything for him and he’s tired of trying to force his way into it.

Jeremiah thought his first step to recommitting himself to the Amish way of life should be to make amends. Which is why he apologized to Andy for all the things he said about Chapel. And Andy was man enough to accept that apology. He’s been on the opposite sides to a few of these and so he knew how much it took for Jeremiah to admit he was wrong. Which is why Andy also invited Jeremiah to the wedding. He wanted bury the strife.

Meanwhile Chapel isn’t doing so good. The rest of the family got to see for themselves that she’s how much help she requires. Chapel was with Rebecca and Katie-Ann trying on dresses when Chapel began to feel sick.

Chapel has been refusing chemo so that she could have hair for her wedding, but she gets so sick at times that it hurts to move. Rebecca thinks Chapel is basically ignoring her condition and she finds that ridiculous. Chapel shouldn’t be risking her life in order to look nice for a couple of photos.

So Chapel most likely wasn’t in that great of a mood during the family dinner and hearing Mary tell them that she and her husband weren’t going to the wedding – angered her and truly hurt Andy.

THE END!
