RECAP: Chris introduces his guests of tonight who are producer Greg Nicotero and Danai Gurira who plays Michonne on the show; Chris asks Danai why Michonne decided to go back to the walkers on leashes. Danai says it was a default situation; she went back to the only way she knew how to be when alone. Chris then asks Greg why they did the Michonne scene as a dream instead of an actual flash back; Greg says they wanted it to show how everything started going wrong having her lover and friend deteriorate through out the whole scene. Danai says that Michonne going through that whole dream was to remind Michonne not to shut away from who she has become. Chris then asks why did Michonne’s friends hated her use of the katana; Danai says it was because she became more powerful with that weapon in that world and it has made her more comfortable in that world while the others weren’t really getting into it. Chris then asks if it’s wrong to show her vulnerability; Danai says that she started to open up much more but then everything went to hell and she is know trying to become will decide her faith. Danai then says that it is a journey that she is going through and thinks she has post traumatic stress disorder, she has become very isolated and easily agitated.

Greg then says that Michonne was right next to Hershel when he was killed and believed she went back with the intent to find his head; even when she saw the tracks in the mud you see her not follow because she doesn’t know if she can go through that feel of loss again. But through out the episode we see her struggling, but she ultimately went back to humanity.

Chris has a fan come up named Mikayla and asks Danai about how Michonne was driven by her hate for the Governor; Danai says that Michonne isn’t angry anymore and that all she knows is how evil the Governor is and that he had to be killed before he hurts others. Chris gives Mikayla some chocolate pudding and she actually isn’t a fan of chocolate, Greg then mentions in the script that Kirkman said pudding was awesome. Greg says that he shot a take where he had Carl say “pudding is awesome”, Chris then asks where all the rage is coming from Carl to Rick. Greg says Rick failed to protect them and that went all the way to Laurie’s death, everyone he knew is gone or dead; Chris then mentions that he can’t rely on his dad. Greg then mentions how Carl said he would be okay with Rick dying. Greg decided to bring a prop to the show and has Hershal’s head on the table; Chris goes and offers pudding to the animitronic head and Greg has it try to eat it.

Chris questions about the look alike walker Michonne saw; Danai says that she saw it as one of her choices to just be dead. Though she feels the life inside of her ignited after seeing that dead version of herself, it made her realise it’s not time to die yet. Greg says it was amazing seeing Danai just keep going with killing all the walkers around her; it was amazing seeing this and they kept filming and decided that was a perfect take because he loved it so much. A fan David calls and asks why Michonne chose her walkers on the leashes; Danai says it was the governors men. Chris asks what’s Michonne’s biggest fear, Danai says that she feared being a walker; so she decided to continue to live.

Chris then announces pudding is trending in the USA, he then asks what it was like directing the scene where Carl though Rick was a walker; Greg says Chandler was really great and said the episode was very similar to the comics and was amazed at how real Chandler was with the whole scene. Though he mentions that Carl was trying to convince himself he was an adult but realized he wasn’t and he still needs Rick to survive; Chris asks why he wouldn’t kill Rick but shot Laurie. Greg says that he can’t stand being alone and that he wouldn’t be able to go on; Chris then questions why Rick told Carl it was for him when Michonne was at the door. Danai says that it’s something very great for both of Rick and Carl because she can be something he can’t be for Carl; Greg then says the mention of Shane was supposed to be Dale but they felt mentioning Shane would hurt Rick much more. Chris then asks if splitting up the group will make the characters stronger or break them down like Morgan; Greg says that this is the first time the group was vulnerable and unprotected since season 1.

Chris has another fan come up named Robert and asks what went into shooting the scene with Carl being piled on by walkers; Greg says one of the walkers has been with them since day one and the other was on the tore Dale open. Chris gives Robert some chocolate pudding when he comes up, Chris asks what Michonne was talking about when she said she had the answer. Danai says that she finally found out the answers to when her lover and friend questioned how to carry on; she had no answer at that time but understood what she would tell her lover at the time. A fan asks Greg what he likes better, the emotional scene or action scenes; Greg says he loves the emotional scenes so much because it has all the power in the episodes. He finds the action second nature to him, but the emotional scenes are his favorite. All the fans in the audience are getting a walking dead survival bag and it filled with a bunch of supplies.
