Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 3 opens tonight with Kailyn and her son Isaac heading to her gynecologist’s office. She is six months pregnant, and it is time for an ultrasound. Her son Isaac wants the Doctor to take the baby out now. The Doctor says everything looks completely excellent but Kailyn needs to work on her diet because she is gaining 1.5 pounds a week. She calls Javi after her appointment, she is concerned about the wedding, they still have a ton of stuff to plan.

Chelsea is headed to Aubree’s pre-school orientation, and she has invited Adam to come along since he is so concerned about being a part of Aubree’s life. Chelsea’s ex Adam finally arrives, late, and Chelsea is annoyed because he didn’t wear a long sleeve shirt and everyone will be able to see his tattoos.

Jenelle and the guy she met online, Nathan, head to the beach. Jenelle confesses to Nathan that there is a chance she can be going to prison for eight months after her court date. Nathan doesn’t seem to care about Jenelle’s checkered past though.

Leah, Jeremy, and Ali are headed to a Doctor’s appointment three hours away. Leah is going to learn what she can expect to happen to her daughter in the future, as her illness progresses. Leah breaks down en route to the Doctor’s office, she still doesn’t understand why it had to be her daughter that was born with something wrong with her.

Chelsea and Adam finish up at Aubree’s orientation, they head out to the parking lot to chat afterwards. Adam is glad that Chelsea is beginning to co-parent and actually invited him to Aubree’s pre-school event.

Kailyn wakes Isaac up to take him to his Dad JO’s house. Once she has Isaac in the car she receives a text from Jo saying that he isn’t at his house, so Kailyn can’t drop Isaac off yet. Isaac is upset because he thought he was going to his Dad’s.

Jenelle’s court date is a few weeks away so she is meeting with her lawyer. She is facing possession of drug paraphernalia, assault, and possession of heroin. Her lawyer wants her to work out a plea arrangement and get her back on supervised probation. Her lawyer reminds her that could be facing some serious prison time.

Leah, Ali, and Jeremy arrive at Ali’s Doctor Appointment, and Corey and his parents meet them there. The Doctor reminds Leah that Ali may be walking now, but as she gets older her muscles will deteriorate and she won’t be able to get around as easily. As of right now the Doctor says there really is no treatment for Ali, they want to run more gene tests. He also tells Leah and her family that when Ali starts school she will have to ride around in a power wheelchair.

Kailyn takes Isaac out to dinner with her and her friends since Jo isn’t at his parents’ house still. She is supposed to drop Isaac off at 7:00 PM every Thursday, but Jo said he wouldn’t be home until 7:30 or 8:00. While Kailyn and Isaac are eating dinner Jo begins sending her texts because he is home now and she still hasn’t dropped Isaac off. She saves copies of the texts to show to her lawyer to prove that Jo wasn’t even on time for his own visitation.

After Jenelle’s meeting with her lawyer she hads back to her Mom Barbara’s house and fills her in on the details. Barbara is shocked that they are considering dropping the heroin charges. Jenelle’s latest boyfriend Nathan is on his way over to meet Barbara, he arrives at the door just as Jenelle tells her he is on his way over. Barbara invites Nathan in and Jenelle introduces him to Jace. Nathan reveals to Barbara that he is a part-time model. While Barbara is trying to speak to Nathan, Jenelle is arguing with Jace and he keeps hitting her. Jenelle threatens to “spank Jace,” and then runs out the door with Nathan while he throws a temper tantrum.

After Ali’s Doctor Appointment, Leah, Jeremy, and Corey’s family head out to lunch to discuss what the Doctor told them about Leah’s disease. Corey is in denial about Ali’s disease, and they are all upset that the Doctor broke the news to them that Ali was going to need a wheelchair.

Chelsea and Aubree are getting ready for her first day of pre-school, she has bought her a new outfit to wear for the big day. Chelsea’s friend comes over and Chelsea fills her in on the latest details about Adam, and his new baby on the way.

Kailyn finally arrives at Jo’s house with Isaac. Isaac runs inside and Jo wants to know why Kailyn is “so late.” She reminds him that he was late too. Kailyn storms off and Jo tells her he “hopes her f—-g water breaks tonight.”

Nathan and Jenelle head to the beach, Nathan wants her to spend the night at his house. Nathan wants Jenelle to move in with her, Jenelle agrees. It makes perfect sense, they have already known each other a week since she met him online.

Before they head home, Leah and her family decides to take Ali to get her fitted for her power wheelchair. Leah cries the whole car ride home, but Jeremy tells her she needs to be “strong for Ali,” because she can hear everything they are saying. Leah says she is “happy she is doing so well now, but the future with her doesn’t look too damn bright.”
