Teresa Giudice realized that when word got out that she had decided to plead guilty to fraud charges beside her husband (not so) Juicy Joe Guidice, there was going to be some backlash. Teresa has played the chronic poor me card on The Real Housewive’s of New Jersey for several seasons now and while we all kind of knew that she was deceitful, I think many still tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. That went out the window on Tuesday when she plead guilty to some of the 41 counts against her.
Teresa has been thinking on her feet and came up with a plan. Maybe if she told her 4 daughters on camera that she is a big, bad liar pants and that mommy could possibly go to jail with daddy, well maybe we would watch that devastating scene play out when it airs on Bravo and then decide that Teresa is turning over a new and honest leaf. I’m sorry but that doesn’t scream honesty nearly as much as it reeks of desperation and manipulation at the expense of her kids!
What kind of mother takes such a crushing moment and makes sure that it is shown in prime time? It’s like she has far surpassed something that Kris Jenner would even do! Sex tapes, nude shots for Instagram, fake, scripted story lines- all of that is nothing compared to what Teresa has just done. If she does end up in jail and those kids are passed around or split up it will make it so much more crushing for the kids and Teresa has set them up to hate her because not only did she knowingly commit crimes but she then exploited them at the most frightening time in their lives.
Teresa Guidice just denied the claims on Twitter: I want to make sure everybody knows that there were NO cameras rolling yesterday on private matters with my daughters.
