The Bold and the Beautiful fans have been questioning Oliver and Aly’s relationship for months now, and whether or not Oliver is dating her to get ahead in his career and secure himself a position at Forrester Creations. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Rick will call Oliver out about the incriminating recording Maya has of him, and Oliver will have to finally address his feelings for Aly and how genuine they truly are.
It’s not that we don’t think Aly deserves love, their whirlwind relationship just seems a little convenient. Oliver began showing interest in Aly when his job was in jeopardy at the company. And, he is Aly’s first love so she is a little naïve when it comes to guys, and she isn’t likely to question whether he truly cares about her. However, Aly and Oliver did just spend a romantic day together at a renaissance festival with Pam and Charlie. If Oliver is just using Aly, he sure is putting in a lot of work to do so.
According to Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the July 2nd episode, Rick and Caroline will grill Oliver and get to the bottom of the recording Maya has. Caroline is suspicious that Maya somehow coerced Oliver into saying he was just dating Aly to keep his job at Forrester, or perhaps she somehow coached him to say those things.
If Oliver does cave to Rick and Caroline and confess that he is only interested in Aly because she secures his job at Forrester Creations, that could crush Aly. She obviously thinks that Oliver is her first love, and Oliver seems to have helped her reign in her craziness. It will be a disaster if she finds out that Oliver is using her, and hopefully there are no axes in her reach when she finds out.
