Tonight’s series premiere of The Quest features 12 contestants AKA “Paladins” who have a love for the fantasy world, who have been pulled out of their regular lives, to live in a castle and experience a “fantasy come to life.”

The twelve Paladins are all gathered and lead through a dark cabin and down to a mystical river where they met the fates that summoned them. They learn they have been summoned to save the land of Everrealm. They will compete in challenges and be eliminated one by one each week until the ultimate hero is crowned. The Paladins first mission is to find the 12 ancient pieces of the sun spear. One they find the sun spear pieces, they meet Creo, and he leads them through the forest of Marwood. They journey through the night and arrive at the House of Saenctum, where they will be safe.

Once the Paladins arrive inside the castle walls, they discover the people of Everrealm aren’t exactly pleased to meet them. All twelve of the Paladins are thrown in to a dungeon. They decide to wait a few minutes to see if Creo comes for them, while they are waiting they devise an escape plan just in case he doesn’t come back for them. While they are locked in the dungeon the players introduce themselves to each other and get to know each other.

A man comes in and he reveals that the first quest was thousands of years ago, the fates tested a group of Paladins and gave each one a piece of the sun sphere, until the last one stood and they were crowned the one true hero. Afterwards Creo shows the Paladines to their rooms in the castle. They all head to bed and prepare for their big day tomorrow.

The Paladins are all awoken bright and early by a man screaming at them, he gives them new medieval clothes and orders them to head outside for training. They get dressed and head outside, they’re instructed to form a line. The Queen ordered the guard to turn them in to warriors, before the Palace is under attack.

The Paladins are divided in to random groups of three. One player must shoot arrows out of a medieval machine, while another player fetches the arrows, and the other player watches from a tower above and offers directions on how close they are to the target, all while under fire. At the end of the competition, the trainer heads out to the targets and counts the arrows to see which team had the most “hits.” The Red Team hit 6 targets, the White Team hit 13 targets, the Yellow Team hit ten targets, and the Blue Team only hit 4 targets. Since Bonnie was the “eyes” of the White Team and they hit the most targets, she is given a Badge of Leadership. Since the Blue Team did the worst, they will be punished, and one of them will be leaving Everrealm.

Back at the castle, the Paladins are ushered in to meet the Queen. She reveals that the three members of the Blue Team will compete against each other to see which one of them will be banished. Each Paladin has their own target set up. Whichever person’s target gets the most arrows in it, is banished from The Quest. Patrick, Katie, and Christian begin firing arrows at each other’s targets. Patrick and Christian automatically begin filling Katie’s targets with arrows. When the times is up, Patrick and Katie have the most arrows in their targets and they are up for banishment. Now it is up to the other Paladins to decide if they want to save Katie or Patrick.

The remaining Paladins gather around the round table and discuss whether or not they should send home Patrick or Katie. After deliberation, Katie only receives two votes, and the rest of the Paladins vote to save Patrick. Katie is officially banished from The Quest.

THE END!
