Tonight the artists will be singing songs of their own choices and will have Taylor Swift advising them on what they have planned to do for their performance. First up is team Gwen’s Sugar Joans and Bryana Salaz, the girls are put together because they know how to work the stage well; but need a little bit of help performing.  Bryana freaked out when she saw Taylor there, it really made her happy. She is singing Heart Attack by Demi Lovatto, this song lets her have fun yet show who she is. Taylor says she has the power in her voice, yet she has to show the emotion of the song; not just show off her powerful vocals. Bryana really hopes she can get through this and make it to the lives, Gwen is very supportive of her choices.

Sugar doesn’t want to go back to being the manager at a shoe store when she gets home, she really wants to pursue her singing career instead and really loves working with Gwen since it reminds her why she loves music. When Sugar saw Taylor she was in shock, she decided to sing another beyonce song “Love On Top”. which Gwen felt iffy on but in the end realized how well she sings her songs.

Adam really felt that this is a tie, Bryana did so awesome with her vocals yet Sugar is more to his taste; he has no idea who’d he choose. Blake agrees, he has no idea how Gwen will choose. Pharrell says Bryana is ready to go and she could easly be in this business for 20+ years, though mentions he loves Sugar and will hit his button for her without a doubt. Gwen was disappointed by Sugar’s song choice, though her performance was very perfect. What made her so happy though when Bryana listened to Taylor and delivered the advice given perfectly. Gwen decides the winner of the knock out is Bryana. Pharrell goes ahead to steal Sugar instantly, he has always wanted Sugar on his team since she has such a beautiful love for soul music.

Next up is Blake’s members Grifin and David James Carter, David was really amazed to see Taylor there and has loved her music. David decided he’s going to sing “You Need a Friend” by Jame Taylor, he is going ahead to do a country version of it. Though it was good, Blake believes he needs a high note in there, he needs a big moment to show off his skills.

Grifin comes in and says he met Taylor’s parents and they were very nice people, he was very glad to meet her. He’s going to sing “As Long as You Love Me” by Justin Bieber, this song is a really catching pop song that he believes his own twist can truly make it his own. Taylor tells him to make it his own with the notes and not to copy Bieber too much.

Pharrell says that James brought his own flavor to it and it was good and was kind of impressed with how Grifin changed that song to his own. Gwen says it was a crazy performance and had goosebumps during James whole performance, though Grifin had a great tone in his ovice. Adam says that James was very good and believable; though he felt this song was to safe for Grifin. Blake says he did well on that song and listened to Taylor’s advice, though James did an amazing job. Blake decides that James is the winner of the knock out.

Next up is Pharrell’s team with Danica Shirey and Katriz Trinidad, he believes they are both power houses and really wants to see which of these two girls can bring out do the other. Danica is singing “Singing All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston and really loved her music a lot, she thinks of fiance when singing this song. Pharell was so amazed, he can’t believe how perfect she was; he felt exactly what she wanted them to feel. Taylor was so impressed with how good she was, they both loved her performance in the rehearsal.

Katriz is next and is singing “Superwoman” by Alicia Keys because it reminds her of her mother every time, Pharrell and Taylor liked it but they feel she is lacking a little bit of her personality in the song. They believe she has to show that she is having more of a good time instead of just singing the song.

Gwen says Danica is always off the chart but Katriz had a ton of stage presence and did a great job, Adam says it’s amazing how Katriz sings so well for her age and was impressive by how Danica was that good. Blake says Katriz stepped up so much and literally looks too cute, though Danica’s control with her power if absolutely perfect. Pharrell says he watched Katriz grow in each performance and really liked how she lived in the moment, though Danica is a unicorn and always sings so well. Pharrell decides Danica is without a doubt the winner of the knock out, Katriz thanks Pharrell for everything.

Next up is team Adam’s Damien and Toia Jones, he loves their voices a lot and knows that they will be good against each other. Damien is singing “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes, he performs the song and Taylor wanted to cry after he was done singing because she could feel every emotion he was singing with.

Toia is singing “Crazy in Love” because that’s exactly the type of artist she wants to be, she loves the song a lot and it really speaks to her. Adam says there are things they need to add into it because she’s missing quite a lot; Taylor wants her to play off the crazy in the song.

Blake says that when Toia did her run they were all in awe, she was just so insanely entertaining. Though Damien sang one of his favorite songs, he loved how emotional he was is just that what Toia did was so much more over the top. Pharrell says that Damien did a flawless performance, though the problem was that he should have brought the guns out more. Though Toia really came back with a vegence and loved her performance so much. Adam says that when he saw the choices of their songs was the Damein really picked something personal, though he was skeptical of Toia’s though she gave an incredible performance since they are both insanely good. The winner of the knock out is Damien because of how vulnerable and beautiful her performs. Toia thanks Adam for everything and Pharrell is so shocked, Blake didn’t steal because he didn’t feel liek he could offer her anything.

Blake’s next pair is Tanner Linford and Jessie Pitts together, Jessie saw Taylor and was so shocked. Jessie is singing “Your Song” by Elton John with a little twist, she absolutely loves it and wants to add in who she is. Taylor says Jessie has to really switch up her mannerisms to make this song her own as well, Blake wants her to use a louder falsetto as well.

Tanner is so grateful to have made it this far right now since he didn’t get past the blinds last year, he is so happy that Blake has so much faith in him. Tanner walks in and he can’t believe it’s Taylor standing there, he regrets not hugging her. He’s singing “Call All Angels” by Train, Blake was shocked by this choice of song because of the vocals in it. Taylor likes Tanner’s voice but wants him to sell his feelings, Blake is amazed how he let go.

Pharrell says that what Tanner brought to the song made him look at it differently and was impressed, though Jessie showed him all the keys to that song though feels they both have bright futures. Gwen is amazed at how Tanner has a strong voice and works the stage so well; though she is loved Jessie’s performance a lot. Adam says that Tanner has a strong voice, but doesn’t look what he sounds. Though felt that Jessie could show more. Blake says he doesn’t disagree with Adam, there is more to come from everybody; the winner of the knock out is Jessie. Tanner thanks Blake for everything and is proud to have made it so far, he is happy he came back and isn’t done with singing at all.

The next pair from team Pharellt is Luke Wade and Taylor Phelan, he choice them because they are both four chair turns and are without a doubt two very talented singers. Luke was so happy to see Taylor Swift, he loves her music so much. He’s going to sing “Rich Girl” by Hall and Oats, he wants to take the song and make is his own.  Taylor believes his tone is perfect and would buy his album, Pharrell believes you can never find another Luke Wade in this world.

Taylor Phelan and he’s singing “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit, he loves the song and believes the chorus represents what he is going through. Pharrell is impressed with his song choice, he’s showing his diversity a lot. Taylor tells him to put down the guitar because he doesn’t play it enough, he gets rid of it and does an even better job.

Gwen says they are both really good, she could not pick a winner from the two. Adam says they are both major losses for him in the blinds, he really likes Luke; though he really enjoyed this other side of Taylor. Blake says that Luke is unbelievably good and loved his performance so much, though felt Taylor really performed the message of the song better. Pharrell believes he liked Taylor really show himself up there, though Luke did do a little much. Pharrell decides the winner is Luke Wade for this knock out. Adam and Gwen go to steal Taylor, then Blake decides he’ll push his as well. Adam says he is shocked Taylor can be stolen, he really wished he could have been on his team in the beginning and knows he is one of the best. Gwen says she has never made a mistake on the show and should go with her, she can tell he is a real artist and would have fun to coach him. Blake says that he chose him because he displayed the most artistry and without a doubt he believe Taylor won the round; he knows he can make it to the finale. Taylor decides he’s going to join team Adam.
