Tonight on ABC it’s the Dancing With The Stars ninth elimination of Season 19 and we will say goodbye to one more star on the DWTS semi-finals. On tonight’s performance episode the five remaining couples advance to the Semi-Finals and performed two routines during plugged/unplugged. Did you watch tonight’s performance episode? After last week’s performances, at the top of the leader board was Alfonso Robeiro and professional dancer Witney Carson dancing the Paso Doble. At the bottom of the leaderboard were Tommy Chong & professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd dancing the Viennese Waltz.
On tonight’s episode, the semi-finalists including Tommy Chong, Bethany Mota, Janel Parrish, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Sadie Robertson performed to two different versions of the same song. In the first round of the competition, the couples performed a Jazz, Quickstep, Samba, Paso Doble or Argentine Tango to an original or “plugged” version of their selected song. In round two of the competition, the couples performed an Argentine Tango, Rumba, or Contemporary routine to an acoustic or “unplugged” version of that same song.
