RECAP:

The show begins with Joanna worries about Ingrid. Freya notices Ingrid in the backyard; she’s laying there unconscious. Meanwhile, Dash is in his home trying to light a candle. He receives a phone call from the mysterious black mailer. The voice says that he knows he “killed” Killian (even though we know Killian’s not dead). The stalker wants $50K.

Ingrid is alive. She wakes up and asks what happened. Freya and Joanna help her up.

When they congregate inside, Joanna and Wendy tell the girls that they have a brother — and that he’s sleeping upstairs. Wendy still doesn’t trust Frederick.

Frederick comes downstairs and greets everyone. He reveals that Freya and he are twins.

Meanwhile, Joanna begins preparing a “truth pie” to give to Dash. She says that she wants to get the truth from Dash to see what’s really going on — whether or not he actually has powers. Inside, Ingrid and Freya are chatting with Fred. Wendy moves the ingredients Joanna gathered to make the truth pie by Fred in an effort to pull some truth out of him. SHE DOESN’T TRUST HIM AT ALL. He reveals that he just had to get away from his grandfather and, at one point, he was almost wishing for death.

We see Killian alive and well in a beach house.

Wendy shows up as a cat on the front porch of the EMT who was flirting with her. She sees that she has a family.

Ingrid shows up for her new curatorial job. Dr. Foster is none too happy that his boss advised him to give her the position.

Dash prepares a suitcase full of money to deliver to his blackmailer. Joanna and Wendy intercept him with their “truth pie.” However, they don’t get the answers they’re looking for. Dash basically tells the Beuchamp women to stay the hell away.

Killian is playing poker. He’s being very lucky and bringing in a great deal of money. One of the players pulls out a gun and says he’d like his money back. The man’s hand begins to break. Killian is unknowingly using magic to protect himself. The men accuse him of being a “brujo.”

At the Fourth of July picnic, everyone gathers around a table. There are a lot of people out and about in the park, and Wendy senses a chill in the air. She says something’s not quite right.

Freya talks with Frederick. She asks him if she might be able to help her find a missing person with their special twin magic.

Meanwhile, Ingrid finds giant book of the occult. Inside, there’s a section on her family.

Killian’s new friend says her grandmother taught her a ritual to help identify those with magic; she thinks Killian might be a witch and offers to help him with the ritual.

Freya and Fred astral project to the hotel in which Killian’s staying. Freya locates the room Killian’s supposedly in; however, as she opens the door, a giant owl flies at her and disrupts her connection.

In the library, Ingrid’s discovering that she has four arcane abilities. There’s something “off” about Dr. Foster. He really wanted to take this book with him but Ingrid prevented him from doing so.

Tommy, the EMT, finds Wendy to flirt with. He reveals that he’s currently separated from his wife and has a daughter.

Dash arrives at the park and places the bag of money under a park bench.

Frederick gives Wendy an earring, which he cursed earlier in the episode.

Wendy feels another chill in the air.

Dr. Foster, who’s now at the park, is snatched up by the shadowy figure.

Killian’s conducting the ritual alongside Eva. Their little ritual confirms that Killian is in fact a witch (as we all knew). Killian wonders how he could’ve gone his whole life without knowing he possessed magic. Eva tells him that maybe it just took someone else like him to awaken his gifts. Eva reveals that she, too, is like him.

Dash finds Ingrid at the park. She says she’s sorry. Dash tries to figure out what’s going on with him. He asks Ingrid if anything strange happens after she fell off that jungle gym in third grade — because she was the only patient in the hospital records with an MRI scan that matched Dash’s scan (he’s saying that this scan belongs to a “patient” of his).

Dr. Foster stumbles out of the forest. he’s uttering, “He’s here. He walks among us. The ancient symbol of the king!”

A storm rolls in. Everyone’s sitting in a candlelit room. Ingrid reveals she’s moving out of Joanna’s house.

Freya also receives confirmation on her phone of an airplane ticket. She’s headed to Santo Domingo.

Dash receives another phone call from his stalker. The stalker says that the fifty grand was just a down payment and soon will be requiring $100K. Dash, super upset, blows up his computer.
