You know how they say when you get to a certain age you do not have to worry about what you say to other people? Well “All My Children” star Jennifer Bassey certainly believes that statement and recently proved that she is not afraid to say what’s on her mind. The 72-year-old actress is in the middle of drama with Delta Airlines after Bassey gave one of the flight attendants a piece of her mind.
According to TMZ, Jennifer Bassey was recently asked to leave an airplane and was forced to get off her flight for being a “risk to the flight.” Jennifer Bassey contacted TMZ to tell them all about the incident. Basically, she says what happened in this situation was that Bassey had wanted to use the restroom when she boarded her Delta flight. She was flying from New York City to Indiana.
After Bassey’s trip to the restroom, she walked out of the bathroom and began to walk to her seat. Bassey claims at this point one of the female flight attendants rudely asked Bassey, “Aren’t you going to flush,” and then told the actress that she also needed to wash her hands. Jennifer Bassey says that she simply responded by telling the rude flight attendant that she had planned on using her own hand sanitizer.
Things got heated says Bassey, when the flight attendant bumped her hand and said, ‘Don’t touch me, don’t you ever touch me.” Jennifer then responded by mouthing, “Go F**k yourself.” Oh the drama.
Immediately after this little incident, the flight attendants huddled around Bassey and the woman she was arguing with, and the pilot turned the plane back to the gate. Two police officers came on board and removed Jennifer, although she was not arrested. The police tell TMZ that they were called in for assault, but found no evidence that Bassey had assaulted anyone.
Delta is stating that they will be looking into the incident and Jennifer Bassey’s last thoughts were that she hopes the flight attendant gets fired. If everything Bassey is saying is true, then it sounds like the flight attendant was just miserable and needs to go into a different career option.
