Andi Dorfman is campaigning for a spot on Bachelor in Paradise! The former 2014 Bachelorette is determined to ride her five minutes of fame until the wheels fall off. When Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray got engaged in the 2014 Bachelor finale it was obvious from the beginning that Josh was looking for love, and Andi was looking for fame. She quit her job as a district attorney and began working hard to remain relevant and vying for another reality TV show. But Andi’s dreams of becoming a life-long celebrity were quickly squashed when Josh Murray grew tired of her fame-whoring and ended their engagement.
Now that Andi Dorfman lost the other half of her showmance and a new season of The Bachelorette is being filmed starring Kaitlyn Bristowe – Andi Dorfman is quickly fading in to obscurity. At this rate, she might even have to get a real job and give up pedaling vitamins on Twitter. But before Andi Dorfman returns to her mundane life as a lawyer, she has one last trick up her sleeve – she is determined to join Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise.
During the Bachelor finale Chris Harrison announced that there would be a second season of the spin-off, and the producers were currently putting together a cast. Harrison invited Chris Soules’s wackiest ex Ashley Salter to join Season 2 on live television and she accepted. On March 30th Andi Dorfman took to Twitter and posted a photo of herself hanging out with Bachelor producer Elan Gale in New York City. According to insiders, Andi is not only forcing her way in to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s filming process – but is also pleading with producers to give her a shot on Bachelor In Paradise.
It’s no secret that Andi Dorfman is one of Chris Harrison’s favorites, but he and the other producers are skeptical about putting her on Bachelor in Paradise so soon after her break-up from Josh Murray. The Bachelor producers want America to believe that Andi and Josh’s engagement was the real deal, it looks a little shady that she is able to get over him so quickly and head to an island with a bunch of single men and hunt for a new man.
