Jessica is over the seminar, saying she doesn’t want to do any fat girl bonding.  When she storms off, the other women talk about how much of a bitch she is and how she thinks she’s better than all of them. “I want to go home with my skinny friends,” Jessica says as she packs up.

Jessica says in confessional that hanging out with bigger women is a taboo for her, and her two friends at home are slender. She is sick of hanging out with “sad” fat women who are upset about how they look.  “They are wonderful women, but they have more baggage than I have ever seen in anyone,” she says.

She tries to leave secretly, but gets caught by the others. Jenn, who offers to hug her, is turned down because she’s wet.

Jenn says in confessional that she thinks Jessica’s whole goal in life is to get attention, and that it must be sad to live life with that one goal.

Jessica has a date with her ex Christopher tonight. When they were dating, he would complain about her weight, and now she wants to show him the new her.

Jenn has a date as well, a guy off the Internet who takes her go kart racing. Jenn is embarrassed that she needs a seat extender for her to fit in her kart. She gets irritated when her date acts like a fool and gloats about beating her, saying in confessional that she finds him stupid and annoying. She tells him that she doesn’t find a spark with him, and he tells her he has to go to work and leaves.

Mer wants to get in the studio to make a new song in order to close the previous chapter of her life with Richie. Her new song is called “Skateboard,” and she says once it’s finished, so is her relationship with Richie.

Sabrina has yet another date, and after the last two busts, she’s worried about this one. He smells good and is a salsa dancer. Sabrina is surprised her date is going so well, ready to quit being the queen of first dates and finally go on a second.

Jessica goes on her date with Christopher, anxious about whether things will go differently this time. She decides to take the sexist advice from the seminar urging her to be less “dominant,” rather than finding someone of actual value who will treat her with respect.

They go to a Japanese restaurant, and Jessica has a hard time getting down on the floor because of her tight body shaper.

“This is awkward,” he says, laughing as she struggles. She asks why he asked her out on this date, and he says he wants to see how she’s doing and where they can go, at which point she asks how many times they’re going to try it, considering they’ve been on and off for four years.

He says that last time he didn’t know what he wanted, but now, if they do get back together, he will be 100% committed to a long term relationship, possibly resulting in marriage. She says a lot of trust will have to be rebuilt because she doesn’t believe him. He says he can see that, and calls her a trophy for some reason.

She says in confessional that she needs a grand gesture to take Christopher back, literally the world on a silver platter.

Kristi goes out with her friend and gets wasted. They play pool with a guy and she is too suggestive toward him, which reminds her of the seminar, which she has taken to heart. She says that all of her acting out previously was an attempt to show the good sides of her, but it turns out that’s what has been turning some off.

Jessica’s second date with Christopher is today, and she wants to see if he can live up to the words of their previous date. She goes shopping for lingerie in preparation.

Sabrina goes to a salsa class with her beau. When she falls, she is mortified but keeps it moving and still has a good time.

Jenn has yet another date with a guy off the Internet, a guy who she describes as “kinda cute” but also shorter and smaller than she expected. He immediately reveals that he doesn’t want kids, and steps out for a smoke, which makes her wonder if he is embarrassed by her. He gets drunk, and when going to get another drink, drops a glass in front of everyone. Jenn turns out to be the one embarrassed by him, and tells him she doesn’t feel a connection and doesn’t want to waste anyone’s time. She storms off.

Kristi hangs out with her brother’s ex-wife, Melissa. When Melissa goes to the bathroom, Kristi hits on a guy named Jefferson at the table behind her, giving him her number.

Jessica is excited about her date with Christopher for some reason. She waits for a late Christopher to arrive, having received no texts or calls from him. At almost 25 minutes late, he still isn’t there. Then she receives a text from him apologizing that he can’t make it because he has work. Jessica is mad he didn’t even have the courtesy to call.

Mer is at work when Adam, an ex-nerd she hasn’t seen in years, shows up. She asks why he came by, and he says he found a new sushi place they should go to. She gives him her number immediately, excited because he is hotter and better than Richie.

When Jessica hangs out with her friend, she talks about feeling like it’s her fault because she’s big. She says she doesn’t want to be like the “desperate” women she saw in the convention at LA. She says she is so embarrassed. Jessica finally decides that repeating the past is not getting her any closer to her future goals.

THE END!
