Tonight on ABC Dancing With The Stars returns for a second week and Bindi Irwin and her professional dancing partner Derek Hough danced a Waltz routine. On tonight’s episode the 13 couples dance to a song that commemorates the professional dancer’s hometown. Did you watch tonight’s episode? The pressure is on this week with the couples having to learn not one but two dances in the two night event. At the end of each night, the couple with the lowest combined judges and viewer votes from last week will be eliminated.
On last week’s premiere episode of DWTS Bindi performed a Jive and the judges scored Bindi a 24/30 for her performance. Julianne Hough loved his performance and had this to say, “From the bush to the ballroom, the flicks, the kicks, the face, and the fun – that is what this competition is about. That was the best performance of the night!”
Judges’ comments on Bindi’s Week 2 Waltz: Julianne: “What I just saw was two dancers dancing as one, it was so beautiful. You are such a blessing to girls out there that it is ok to go outside your comfort zone.” Bruno: “That was so beautiful, it was so good but be careful with your shoulders, it was close to perfection.” Carrie Ann: “It was absolutely stunning, something magical was happening until your feet lifted off the floor, it was so special.”
