Bindi Irwin recently admitted that she is a huge Taylor Swift fan and the “Dancing With The Stars” phenom says she really wants to be a part of TSwift’s squad of famous friends. It seems that Bindi has what it takes, the teen star seems to share a lot of the same qualities as her idol Taylor Swift.
Taylor often uses her huge social media presence to share inspirational messages and spread ideas about uplifting other women. Bindi feels like she and Taylor are very much alike in that respect and she really wants to be friends with Taylor and her growing squad of A-list buddies.
Bindi Irwin is serious about getting into Taylor Swift’s squad too. According to a recent report in New Idea magazine, the Australian charmer has asked her mother to help arrange a meeting with the “Shake It Off” singer in hopes that they hit it off. Terri Irwin often acts as Bindi’s manager, which makes sense since the “DWTS”
At just 17 years old, Bindi would be one of the youngest in Taylor Swift’s squad, if Taylor lets the “DWTS” contestant enter the highly sought after squad. The core of Taylor’s closest friends include Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and Gigi Hadid. There is a growing list of actresses, models and musicians who have also joined in the friendship circle. While some of Taylor’s friend roster has changed over the years, for the most part, her group has just grown.
Taylor Swift has talked about her famous friends. Swift has said in the past, ‘I look for people who really have their own passion in life’. If that isn’t Bindi Irwin, then we don’t know what is. The almost adult daughter of the iconic Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has proved that she is a powerhouse on the dance floor and there are even whispers that Bindi might win the whole “Dancing With The Stars” competition.
If Taylor Swift ends up making an appearance on “DWTS” soon, we’ll know that Bindi’s mom, Terri Irwin, may have had a hand in it. We can also bet that Bindi will be first in line to meet Taylor Swift, the woman who she calls her “inspiration.”
Taylor Swift is headed to Australia in late November and early December for her hit “1989” tour. Who wants to bet that Bindi Irwin will be in the audience? Don’t be surprised if Bindi is called on stage at some point during Swift’s tour to get the fans excited. Taylor would be crazy not to entertain Bindi Irwin as one of her friends at least while she tours Australia since Bindi is a huge hit down there.
