Is Bobbi Kristina Brown dead? Has Bobbi died at the Peachtree Christian Hospice or is she still clinging to life – the answer is unclear. Since a fake funeral video circulates on the Internet some have doubts as to weather Bobbi Kristina is still alive. As Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family prepares for her funeral arrangements and burial, the Browns and Houstons are tearing each other apart. While Tyler Perry has made a public appeal for privacy, not all the family members have been so hush hush about what has happened to Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston’s only daughter and sole heir.
Leolah Brown is sister to Bobby Brown and aunt to Bobbi Kristina, and said in a recent interview that Nick Gordon is “guilty” and “she knows what he did to her” and claims he is responsible for her injuries. Leolah says it was “someone’s intention to put her where she is right now.” She says Nick “manipulated my niece Bobbi Kristina” and “you can clearly see what he’s doing in the public eye.”
She says “his actions speak for itself.” Leolah says “Nick Gordon’s habits and actions aren’t consistent with someone who cares about somebody.” She says he’s “putting up guns on Facebook” and “blurring out nasty words to my brother Bobby.” She says all this while “Krissi is laying in the hospital, someone you love.” She asks “why are you really doing it, let’s hear it Nick?”
But Leola also took Pat Houston to task, whom she calls Pat Gowan, for what has happened to Bobbi Kristina. In a recent interview, Leola said she can’t say if it “was Pat’s actual hand” that harmed Krissi, but “holds her accountable for what happened to Bobbi Kristina” and says she has the right to say this based on “actual knowledge” of what went down.
Then she talked more about Pat and clarified that Pat Houston is not her in-law and says, “I do not have any respect for Pat Houston. Her name is Pat Gowan. Pat is a manipulator from the door and she has never earned my trust. She may have earned Whitney’s trust in the beginning, but Whitney was not fond of her and we all know that. She was not close to Whitney. It’s a big lie she’s told in the media.”
Then Leola said, “I never watched the reality show because I was so upset that Miss Pat would throw my niece on a reality show at the time of her mother’s death when Bobbi Kristina never had a chance to mourn her mother and heal.” Leola said Pat, instead of allowing Krissi time to heal, “threw her on a reality show” and calls Pat “a money hungry beast.”
And we’ve written here on CDL before that Krissi’s move to hospice was all about the money and not about her well-being. With a $20 million fortune on the line, it appears that the Houstons, who control the Bobbi Kristina’s trust have opted to make a money grab instead of allowing Bobbi Kristina Brown to continue on life support. And that’s not the only money grab going on. There’s another $10 million on the line with the law suit filed against Nick Gordon, Krissi’s self-declared husband.
The lawsuit accuses him of “domestic violence” and says he is guilty of “punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth, and dragging her upstairs by her hair.” The lawsuit reveals that Bobbi and Nick had a “loud argument” the day she was found unconscious in the bathtub and that she had a “swollen mouth and another tooth knocked out.”
Ian Halperin, author of a recent book about Whitney and Bobbi Kristina says of Nick, “He beat her, he abused her and it’s time for him to be held accountable.” He believes that Nick Gordon will be held accountable by the police for the attack on Krissi, her injuries and, ultimately, her death. While the hospice move may have been a money grab for the Houstons it is the worst possible move for Nick Gordon.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death will escalate any criminal charges against him from domestic violence to murder, whether it’s manslaughter, second degree murder, or felony murder remains to be seen. For now, the family continues to deny that Bobbi Kristina has passed away, although all signs point to her demise and the family’s denials and lack of statements may simply be to buy time to transport Bobbi’s body discretely and avoid a media circus as she’s flown to New Jersey to be buried alongside her mother Whitney Houston.
