Bobbi Kristina Brown: Pat Houston Loses Control of $20 Million Inheritance - Cissy Houston Ready for Granddaughter 'To Go'

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition may not have changed, but her circumstances have. Bobby Brown filed for guardianship of Bobbi Kristina’s finances, but was denied. Instead, attorney Bedelia Hargrove has been named conservator and has legal control of what is left of the $20 million estate. Bobby must also make all decisions with Pat Houston now, as the court granted co-guardianship. Pat’s first play with her new power has her trying to move Bobbi home.

Pat Houston and Cissy Houston’s attorney released a statement in conjunction with Bobby Brown’s lawyer, confirming the news of the co-guardianship ruling. “Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi’s care and medical needs,” the legal teams shared before continuing, “Ms. Hargrove is responsible for Krissi’s assets, including her likeness, rights and legal claims.”

It sounds like a big hit for those on Team Brown. Bobby had sole control of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical decisions. After the ruling, he now has to share the power with Pat Houston. Cissy and Pat might have their own agenda, as both Houston women will inherit the $20 million inheritance left to Bobbi Kristina by her late mother, Whitney Houston.

Cissy Houston has made it very clear she is ready to let go of Bobbi on several occasions, most recently telling ET, “She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all. She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.” It sounds like she is reiterating her earlier statement to a New York radio station that she was “alright” if Bobby Kristina dies.

No doubt Bobby Brown fears Pat and Cissy Houston don’t have Bobbi’s best interest in mind, but the statement released by Brown and Houston’s attorneys claim, “Both parties are delighted with the Court’s decision and are working harmoniously to ensure Krissi receives the best possible medical care.”

It might be hard to believe, but this ruling comes with the attempt to move Bobbi Kristina Brown back to her home she shared with Nick Gordon. Bobbi was found unconscious and face down in the bathtub in the townhouse, but Pat and Gary Houston have been cleaning out the former drug den, so Bobbi Kristina can return home.

The Houston women feel returning Bobbi to her home and surrounding her with pictures of her late mother will help her feel more comfortable. However, it’s obvious the move would stop part of the medical bills draining the estate. Every day Bobbi remains in rehab, Pat and Cissy Houston lose money from their possible inheritance. It’s not clear if Bobby Brown will allow his daughter and heir to the $20 million inheritance out of rehab and the watchful eye of staff helping Bobbi recover.
