Bobby Brown is taking the Houston Family to court for guardianship of Bobbi Kristina Brown, and of course her $20 Million inheritance. Since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragic drowning in January she has been lying in a hospital bed and brain dead, with her $20 Million inheritance looming over her head – although Bobby Brown insists that she is making progress.
At the end of the day – everyone wants control over Bobbi Kristina’s estate which means they all want the money! Cissy Houston and Pat Houston made it very clear weeks ago that they were ready for Bobby Brown to take his daughter off life-support and “end this nightmare.” And, it is no secret that if Bobbi Kristina does pass away her inheritance is willed to the Houston Family – so obviously they want the “nightmare to be over.” Meanwhile, as long as Bobbi Kristina is still alive Bobby Brown can take the Houston Family to court and try to get guardianship over his daughter’s money – and that is exactly what he is doing.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical bills are astronomical, between her stay at Emory University Hospital and the rehab facility where she is being held now, DeKalb Medical. So, in Bobby Brown’s defense – it seems logical that he takes over guardianship of his daughter’s estate so he can use the funds to pay for her medical care. The Houston Family is not obligated to pay Bobbi’s bills, in the event that she did pass away they could take her $20 Million and walk away, leaving Bobby Brown to foot the millions of dollars in hospital bills. If Bobbi Kristina Brown does go on to live a long life – she will still need years of rehab and medical care, which will get increasingly expensive. If Bobby Brown is caring for his daughter, then it is logical that he has control over her money to help cover some of the expenses.
