Bobbi Kristina Brown is now being guarded against photos as family gathers to say their final goodbyes. The only daughter of Whitney Houston is on “lock down” after a family member exploits her death, shopping a photo of Bobbi on her deathbed. Nick Gordon has also started to panic and claims “stress and drugs” caused Bobbi Kristina’s drowning.
The 22-year-old heir to Whitney Houston’s estimated $20 million estate has been in hospice, barely hanging onto life since being moved from the Atlanta rehab facility. The Brown and Houston families have been praying for a miracle, hoping Bobbi Kristina will somehow recover from “global irreversible brain damage,” Cissy Houston revealed. In her final days, both families have been gathering to see Bobbi Kristina Brown one last time…and trying to cash in on her death.
As CDL reported, someone is shopping a photo of Bobbi Kristina dying in hospice. The image was reportedly taken by an “extended family member” and offered to various media outlets with a hefty price tag. Entertainment Tonight revealed the photo was offered up for $100,000, but ET declined citing the image of Bobbi Kristina dying was too “unseemly.”
Leolah Brown followed the report of the deathbed photo with another rant posted on her Facebook page. Bobbi’s aunt was fuming and assured the culprit she would find out who is behind the image of Bobbi Kristina by making the families take a lie detector test.
Radar has also reported that Bobbi Kristina is on “lock down” in hospice. “’Everyone has to check their purses or bags at the nurse’s station,” a source told the media outlet. “They are making sure that each person that comes to see Krissy is fully checked and that they aren’t sneaking anything into the room.”
Meanwhile, Nick Gordon is trying to build a defense. Bobbi Kristina’s abusive boyfriend is fighting a $10 million lawsuit that alleges Gordon hit Bobbi, knocked out two teeth, and stole money; transferring $11,000 after she went into a coma. The lawsuit joins the impending murder charges. Law enforcement have been investigating Nick in conjunction with Bobbi Kristina’s drowning since she was found unresponsive in her bath tub on January 31.
TMZ shared the details of a recorded phone conversation between Nick Gordon and a Brown family member on February 21. “Krissy, she was under a lot of stress and we were all doing drugs and you know, all, all drinking, bro,” Nick said in the conversation. “She just did too much man. She, listen, listen bro. I will officially stay from bathtubs forever, I’ll tell you that.”
Despite the mounting evidence that makes Nick Gordon look extremely guilty of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s drowning, Nick seems to be laboring under the delusion Bobbi will clear his name. “When Krissy wakes up she’ll tell the truth to everybody. Everybody will feel stupid as f—k,” TMZ shared.
