Bruce Jenner’s transgender urges and sex change plans are kept to himself but Kris Jenner can’t seem to shut her big mouth on the issue. The irony is that while Kris is busy demanding that Bruce deny the rumors regarding his identity it is she who is drawing the most attention to the topic. While everyone is trying to keep up with the Kardashians, these days it seems no one is trying harder than their mother Kris Jenner’s ex Bruce Jenner. Though his conspicuously flowing locks and delicate diamond earring choice may suggest otherwise, Kris insists Bruce is not going through a sex change transition to live as a woman and has been very vocal about her opinions on the topic.
Months of circulating rumors have said former Olympian Bruce in transgender has been going through the process of transitioning in preparation for a sex change operation, but he has remained mum on the topic. Now Kris is stepping forward to demand he take a strong public stance against these rumors, but Bruce is reportedly not bending to her will, preferring to keep his personal life to himself (apart from occasional appearances in public where he looks like a man trying to look like a woman) and take his time releasing any statements regarding whether he is or is not transgender or if he is planning to get sexual reassignment surgery.
It seems evident that Bruce is going through some kind of change in his personal life. Obvious changes in Bruce’s appearance over the course of the last several months, including longer hair, facial plastic surgery, and a shift in his wardrobe choices, kept rumors burning, and the divorce between the couple just seemed to push them further. According to Kris, however, there is no validity to these claims (Radar) and she is ready to set the record straight and get out from under the insinuations and falsified news stories.
Pressure for a public statement reached a peak recently when a celebrity magazine (In Touch) used a modified picture of Bruce on their cover. The image, which features Bruce superimposed over the image of Stephanie Beacham, actress of former “Dynasty” stardom is rather shocking and received much buzz. The picture seemed to show Bruce wearing heavy makeup and a scarf, making Kris desperate to have Bruce settle the issue once and for all.
Though Kris is having a hard time understanding why Bruce won’t deny the rumors and continues to push him to do so, the 65-year-old is getting some much-needed support from other members of his family. Sons Brody and Brandon Jenner are more concerned about the hurt the fake picture could cause the LGBT community than what it means for their father. Both are sticking beside Bruce amid all of the drama and supporting his decision to stay quiet for now on this sensitive issue.
