Gear up, Chris Martin, Jennifer Lawrence fans, Chris Martin might be taking Jennifer Lawrence as his date to the Grammy Awards. As always, Coldplay and Chris Martin have netted multiple Grammy nominations, which means he’s going to be taking the stage to perform and make an acceptance speech somewhere during the evening. Since Chris has ‘consciously uncoupled’ with his longtime wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, that means he’s free to take whoever he wants to this year’s Grammy Awards. And since he’s dating Jennifer Lawrence, it’s very, very probable that he ends up taking her.
A source tells Naughty Gossip, “Jennifer is pressuring Chris to take her to the Grammys and PARADE her across the red carpet. She’s tired of feeling like the second-tier woman in his life. She wants to be treated like a queen.”
Usually, the scheduling would have been difficult to pull off because the BAFTA Awards are usually held at the same time as the Grammy Awards, and Jennifer is usually nominated for something or the other. However, her awards buzz this year has been non-existent and she hasn’t been nominated for anything – and thus, she’d be perfectly free to attend the Grammys as Chris Martin’s date. Sure, Gwyneth Paltrow will be seething, but why would J.Law care about that? She’s going to the Grammys with the hottest date of the evening, which is apparently all she wants.
Now, I don’t believe that Jennifer Lawrence would court this kind of publicity, but at the same time, she’s only 24 years old! Going to the Grammys as a rock star’s date has got to be exciting, right?
