Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have broken up and the engagement and wedding are off – the 2015 Bachelor winner has already left Los Angeles and moved back to her hometown of Chicago and began working full-time at her old job at the fertility clinic where she and Chris filmed one of their dates on The Bachelor. But, Soules and Bischoff are playing coy about their relationship status and have not confirmed the break-up for one reason – publicity. The only reason Chris Soules is still hanging on to his Dancing With The Stars stint by a thread is because of Bachelor fans that vote for him every week. If he admits that his showmance with Bischoff is over, then he will lose the majority of his DWTS fan base, loyal Bachelor viewers who fell for his and Whitney’s showmance.
Apparently Whitney and Chris Soules forgot to give their families a lesson on how to talk to the media – because both members of Whitney’s family and Chris’s family dished to Radar Online about their engagement and they had some telling things to say. Chris Soules’ Grandmother Beverly admitted that she has “only saw Whitney on TV.” She lives only 20 minutes away from Chris’s farm – and she has never even met his fiancée! They have been engaged for 6 months, why would she have not met Chris’s Grandma by now – unless Chris had no intention of actually marrying her. Ironically, Beverly raved about how “amazing” Chris’ dance partner Witney Carson was – and couldn’t stop gushing about how great of a DWTS couple Witney and Chris make.
Whitney Bischoff’s family was never really supportive of her relationship with Chris Soules to begin with, on The Bachelor her sister refused to give the couple her blessing because she thought it was all a sham. Whitney’s step-mother Marsha dished to Radar that she “wished Whitney and Chris the best” and when asked if they had broken-up all she would say was, “We’ll see what comes down the plate.”
Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have obviously broken up, the signs are all there. There will most likely be a joint press release issued as soon as The Bachelor is eliminated from Dancing With The Stars, confirming the news.
