“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that John (Drake Hogestyn) has an ulterior motive for rejoining the ISA. John told Marlena (Deidre Hall) that he wanted to feel like he was doing something meaningful again, but that wasn’t the whole story. DOOL spoilers say John will open up to Marlena and Brady (Eric Martsolf) about the main reason for his career change.
John will admit that he can’t quit thinking about the past. It’s only natural for John to be curious. John lost most of his memory long ago. Besides, John’s backstory has been tweaked so many times that even diehard “Days” fans probably don’t know the truth anymore. With DOOL’s 50th anniversary rapidly approaching, now might be an excellent time to set the record straight. John recently found his long-lost son, Paul (Christopher Sean). Who knows what other secrets might be uncovered?
Nevertheless, Brady and Marlena won’t believe this is the right move for John. John just promised Marlena that he was committed to her and she gave him a month to prove his devotion. Can John really hold up his end of the bargain if he’s dashing off to do research on his past? It’s going to be tough, but John can be pretty convincing. John will assure his family that he’ll stay safe and return to them in one piece. The ISA has plenty of new technology John can use to track down anything and anyone he needs to. John just can’t let this opportunity pass him by.
Still, there’s bound to be some danger ahead. Some “Days of Our Lives” rumors hint that John could inadvertently become tangled up in another mission. Word has it that John’s plans could somehow overlap with Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) attempt to find Bo (Peter Reckell). Even if Steve flies solo, we’re sure to get a big adventure. The hunt for Bo has begun and viewers are on the edge of their seats. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on Bo’s long journey home.
