“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that a complex murder mystery is about to have Salem on edge. EW is reporting that a serial killer will soon be on the loose and the fallout will be huge. You can expect the first character to be killed off in late August and more deaths will follow. As the material of the new head writers starts hitting the screen, you’ll see several characters meet a gruesome end. This is DOOL’s way of clearing out the work of the previous writers and making room for the current vision of the NBC soap.
Now that we know death and destruction are coming up, we can start guessing who the victims will be. “Days of Our Lives” rumors say that Paige (True O’Brien) and Clyde (James Read) will likely be two of the casualties. Word has it that even some returning vets may be on the chopping block. Could Bo (Peter Reckell) arrive to a hero’s welcome only to be sent six feet under? We shouldn’t rule it out. Alison Sweeney is also set to reprise her role as Sami a little later on. Sami’s visit will be short and sweet. It’s doubtful there will be time to squeeze in Sami’s slaughter, but you never know…
We’ve been hearing rumblings that Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will have some explosive moments as his exit looms. Perhaps Aiden will be murdered or even do the murdering himself. Aiden has always been a fairly private guy and he could be capable of anything. The story about Chase (Connor Kalopsis) accidentally killing Aiden’s wife could be completely bogus for all we know.
No one is really safe as we move toward fall. Sonny (Freddie Smith) is gone in the near future and “Days” rumors hint that Guy Wilson may be out as Will. It’s suspected that Freddie Smith returned to tape a couple more scenes after his initial departure. While it’s possible that Smith was reshooting some tweaks for the new writers, it’s also possible that he came back to tie up a few loose ends. Maybe Sonny will show up for Will’s funeral. We know that Gabi (Camila Banus) is headed home soon. That’s good since Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell) will need someone to care for her if Will dies. Then again, Gabi could be the one to bite the dust leaving Will as Ari’s sole parent.
Almost every “Days of Our Lives” character will have to watch his or her back. Once the killing spree winds down, a big reveal will take place during the week of DOOL’s 50th anniversary. Mark November 8 on your calendar because some shocking twists are sure to shake things up. The rumors indicate that Aiden or Andre (Thaao Penghlis) might be to blame for the blood bath, but there are no official spoilers on either of those options just yet.
