“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Monday, September 21, tease that Caroline’s (Peggy McCay) health will continue to decline. Caroline has been having a rough time over the last few weeks. When she made a trip to the Victorian mansion for the bicentennial preparations, Caroline became disoriented and upset. Caroline later returned to the mansion alone and had another moment of confusion.
It seems Caroline’s mental state will get much worse and people will start to take notice. DOOL spoilers say Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will worry about how fast Caroline is fading. Fortunately, Victor (John Aniston) has been in contact with a doctor about an experimental treatment that may be able to help Caroline. Let’s just hope Victor can get it all worked out in time.
Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will discuss the murder mystery clues as they search for the truth. These two have a great working relationship, but Rafe wishes it could be more. Alas, it’s just not meant to be—at least not right now. Hope is currently engaged to Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) and Bo (Peter Reckell) should be back before long. Rafe is probably pretty low on Hope’s list of potential love interests, but “Days” rumors hint that “Rope” shippers should never say never.
Meanwhile, Steve (Stephen Nichols) will take all the information he’s learned and put it to good use. DOOL spoilers indicate that Steve will start his journey to find Bo. However, it appears someone else will want to lend a hand. Steve will discover a stowaway as he begins his mission. We don’t know for sure who his sidekick will be, but it makes sense that it would be Joey (James Lastovic). Perhaps Joey is afraid that his dad won’t come back if he leaves again.
If Joey tags along, it would ensure that Steve returns to Salem. Of course, if Steve catches Joey before he heads off, he might be able to quiet his son’s fears. On Tuesday’s episode, Steve will open up to Joey about how much he loves Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and his desire to come home to his family. It sounds like Steve will do his best to convince Joey that he’s in his life for good. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on Steve and Joey’s attempt to bond.
