Donald Sterling and V. Stiviano’s shady relationship has finally been called out, and the courts have ordered her to surrender $2.6 million worth of gifts and handouts – which Donald imparted to her during their fling – to Shelly Sterling. Shelly seems to be getting the revenge she sought out to get (and perhaps deserve).
In the right perspective of the law, Shelly has always been Donald’s wife until proven different. Therefore, in a court of law, the judge abided by the jurisdiction of marriage laws for Donald and Shelly. The judge ruled that Donald had no legal right to bequeath any personal property or money to his mistress V. In court, Shelly Sterling proved that Stiviano manipulated Donald Sterling into giving her significant chunks of change, some of which were in the forms of real estate, the basis of the Sterling fortune/empire.
Perhaps in a hopeless move to please a young lady such as V, Donald felt he had no other option but to seduce her with large sums of money and gifts. Among the gifts were luxury cars and a duplex valued at approximately $1.8 million.
It seems as if V’s gold-digging days are over – at least when it comes to drilling into the Sterling fortune. But who’s to say she won’t find another lustful mogul willing to shower her with gifts and a bottomless Visa?
