Here are some “General Hospital” (GH) spoilers to get you ready for the August 17 episode of the hit ABC soap. It will be explosive in Port Charles on Monday. Commish Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) is angry at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that she followed the lead he gave her only to find one guy dead, one guy gone. Jordan rants at him about the escalating mob violence and Sonny tells her “wasn’t me” and then points the finger, yet again, at Julian Jerome (William deVry). Too bad they can’t get any evidence to back up that accusation.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is happy to see his mom Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) but wants to know where his baby brother is. Olivia catches both he and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) up to date on the latest news of the little Falconeri and she hears that Julian is supposedly out of the business. This may have Olivia rethinking keeping the truth from her baby daddy about their offspring.
Julian, meanwhile, is furious that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has crushed Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Julian rants to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who will, as always, try and get him to see reason – but he won’t. Alexis also pushes on Julian because she’s still not 100% confident that he’s out of the business. Julian is out but that doesn’t mean his hands are clean – he’s walking a fine line with Alexis.
Brad begs Lucas for a chance to explain his marriage to Rosalie Martinez (Linda Elena Tovar) but Lucas will not be comforted by what he hears, but he’ll come around soon – he really does love Brad after all. The Brad-Lucas engagement is clearly off since he’s already wed and it’s likely a mob marriage he has with Rosalie. So exactly who is Rosalie? And how did she end up hitched to Brad?
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) had a flashback of a temper tantrum she had at Wyndemere – lo and behold, she really did have a bout of amnesia. She tells Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) that she’s recovering memories and he wants to hear all about it. Now that Nik has her there alone at Wyndemere with Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) gone, Hayden is at his mercy – she’d better be careful.
Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will call Nik having yet another dramatic meltdown about the secret they’re keeping and he will update her on Hayden then listen to her cry and moan about how they can’t let Jake Doe (Billy Miller) or anyone else find out the secret now that she’s engaged. Is Liz giving Nikolas permission to kill Hayden? Will Hayden overhear some of this and recover more memories?
Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has to get ready for his son’s trial but Franco (Roger Howarth) continues to deflect telling his dad the truth so he can protect Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford). But that’s okay, Nina is ready to step up and be the knight in shining armor to protect Franco. What scheme is she cooking up in her crazy noggin? And will Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) step in to help see it through?
