“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) may soon be without a man, lonely and reeling. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) has chosen Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and it’s unlikely even the secret reveal will split them.
Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) has also had enough of Sam telling him she loves him while clearly seeing him as a less-than-worthy consolation prize. Patrick is on his way out of town soon without Sam – which will leave her all alone, what then?
Remember the last time that Liz won Jason away from Sam and how crazy Sam went? Sam hired thugs to scare Elizabeth and her kids and then didn’t report it when little Jake Spencer (James Nigbor) was kidnapped – plus so much more.
There is little chance that Sam will handle this dumping any more gracefully. The question is what will she do? What depths could Sam sink to once she’s kicked to the curb by both men she loves? Will Sam focus on revenge against Liz?
No doubt the intensity of the retribution scheme will depend on how smug Liz is when she throws her Jason relationship in Sam’s face and gloats… Who could Sam partner with for a revenge ploy against Liz?
#1 Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)
If Sam is looking to get back at the man who dumped her and the woman he’s now with, Ric Lansing is an obvious choice of partners. He’s in the same position as Sam but on the opposite side since Jason stole Liz from him and Liz stole Jason from her. Sam and Ric have a tumultuous history and she clearly views him with disdain, but misery makes strange bedfellows (and those two did share a bed before).
#2 Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)
Carly also has it in for Liz and will be stung by Jason’s rejection of her. Jason will chastise Carly soon for making Liz doubt his love. Carly is a perfect partner for Sam since she’s ruthless and they both think they have Jason’s best interests at heart. Carly would be almost as lethal to work with as Ric – and imagine if all three of them put their differences aside to work at splitting Jason and Liz up? Yowza!
#3 Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise)
Carlos and Jason have an unfriendly past to start with – and Carlos will be reeling himself from a broken heart when Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) dumps him for good and insists her baby was fathered by Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell). Jason has ties to Michael and the Corinthos mob whom Carlos hates. Carlos would be a dangerous ally, but could be a devious partner for Sam to couple up with soon.
#4 Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi)
Paul, like Carlos, represents danger – which Sam craves. Plus Paul is after the Corinthos cartel which means he’d like to keep Jason off balance and not working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Hurting Jason would fit in with Paul’s master plan, no doubt. Plus, Paul would be more than happy to bed Sam on the rebound – he seems to be building a harem of all the hot 40ish ladies in Port Charles.
Depending on how Sam acts out, though, she could lose even more than Patrick and Jason. If Sam’s revenge antics put Danny Morgan at risk, Jason might try to take their son to protect him from her new and possibly dangerous lifestyle. Without her son tethering her to normalcy, there’s no telling what Sam would do.
