It’s always exciting to see new faces in Port Charles and old familiar ones back – here are some “General Hospital” spoilers about recent comings and goings on the set of the hit ABC soap. We know Silas Clay (Michael Easton) is gone for good and this sets off a month long murder mystery. While the obvious choices for killer are Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) or Ava Jerome (Maura West), rumor has it the killer is someone you’d never suspect.
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is awake, but the great news is that the feisty troublemaker is now under contact and here to stay because she was such a big hit with fans. Woo hoo!
Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is set to come back soon for a short stint to offer some answers about Jake Doe (Billy Miller) and Jake Spencer (James Nigbor) and rumor has it that Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) may be her little Port Charles spy.
Also back for a brief stint will be Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) – spoilers indicate The Jackal is coming back to Port Charles for the wedding of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There are two plot twists attached to this rumor. One is that Spinelli will tell Jake who he really is, another that Spinelli will help Jason recover lost memories.
And by late August, there will be a returning player in town – Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) is slated to be back and more spoiled and entitled than ever. Rumor has it Kristina will mess with many lives.
Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) is out for the rest of the summer with the excuse that she’s gone to Ireland to hang with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) while she mulls over the bad doings of other son Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher). Look for Laura to be back this Fall after the break.
Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) is heading back from maternity leave and is already filming, but won’t be seen on-screen until mid-August. She still has karma coming for faking the death of her baby with Julian Jerome (William deVry).
The mob war in Port Charles is heating up and there are rumors of a couple of possible imminent deaths related to the escalating violence. There are rumors that some (or all) of the following could die in the clash: TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond), Ava Jerome (Maura West), or Franco (Roger Howarth).
And finally, Michelle Stafford and Teresa Castillo are both pregnant in real life. So will the new GH writers Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman write in the pregnancies. We know Nina Clay (Stafford) hasn’t gotten it on with her rat fink hubby Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) so it would likely be a Franco baby and how fun would a little Fra-Nino be? With Sabrina Santiago (Castillo) it seems a bit premature for she and Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) to have a baby, but you never know.
