“General Hospital” spoilers for the week of February 16 -20 tease that fans of the ABC soap will not want to miss a single episode, because the truth about Jake Doe’s identity will finally be coming out. Rumors have been floating around for months that it would be revealed on GH that Jason Morgan is alive, and living under the alias Jake, and according to an all new weekly spoiler video – those rumors are finally coming true this week!
When Jake Doe arrived in Port Charles in late 2014, GH fans have been sitting on the edges of their seats waiting for someone – anyone to discover that he is really Jason Morgan. Jake was on ice for two years, suffered head trauma when he was ran over by Ava Jerome, and was brainwashed by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) to forget his true identity and follow her orders. When Jake (Billy Miller) was ordered to kill his wife Sam, he began having flashbacks and was starting to break free of Helena’s mind control, despite how obvious it was no one figured out that he was actually Jason Morgan.
The “General Hospital” weekly spoiler video shows Jason Morgan undergoing brain surgery at GH and teases “How far will you go to find out your truth?” He appears to be undergoing a dangerous surgery to try and bring back his memory and possibly remove a chip Helena had placed in his brain. While Jake is in surgery Carly (Laura Wright) reveals the gravity of the situation to Sam and informs her that “Jake could die.” Meanwhile, a dazed Jake awakens on the operating table and Liz tries to coax him into remembering who he is.
Regardless of whether Jake is able to remember his true identity, someone else in Port Charles knows the truth. In the “General Hospital” spoiler video Helena’s grandson Nikolas announces, “Jake is Jason Morgan?” So, one way or another the truth is coming out this week. And, the backlash is going to be huge! Elizabeth still clearly has feelings for Jake, but will Sam try to stake her claim on her hubby when it is revealed he is Jason Morgan? What about Patrick, and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)? Will they both be pushed to the side while Liz and Sam battle over Jason?
