Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Tuesday May 12 show – there’s lots of drama around Duke’s shooting that will come out today! First, Commish Sloane (Grayson McCouch) tells Jake Doe (Billy Miller) that he has to play this out and let people think he shot Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). Sloane wants Jake to take this opportunity to burrow in deeper into the Jerome organization. And Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has serious questions for her sweetie Julian Jerome (William deVry) about his involvement in Duke’s shooting. Maybe Julian will play dumb and will claim that Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) went rogue. Of course maybe Carlos did go rogue….
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gahti) has to pull a wailing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) away from Duke’s body and tells her she has to let him go. Anna will later try to reach daughter Robin Scorpio (Kelly McCullough) in Paris but won’t be able to reach her and will worry what’s up with that. Hopefully, Robin will make it back for the funeral. You can see from “General Hospital” trailers of the live shows that it looks like part of the shows on the 15 and 18 will be in a church. Is it Duke’s funeral or a wedding?
Rumor has it that a wedding is in the works, but the only couple close to tying the knot are Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), right? Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) is upset that her preemie son isn’t thriving and will turn to son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) after the birth. It would work out great for Olivia if Julian was nailed for Duke’s death so he can be sent to Pentonville and out of her life.
Likely it won’t work out that way and we know that LoCicero is leaving the show for maternity leave so we’ll see her and Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) roll out of Port Charles together but Olivia will be back in a couple of months. And related to her shooting, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) will have to stop Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) from going after Julian. Jordan and Sloane lied to Shawn about who the killer was to try and protect her CI status – if he knew it was Bruce, he’d know it was Duke.
But when Shawn is ready to go after Julian in retribution, Jordan will have to stop Shawn. Will this force Jordan to come clean to him? The truth is likely the only thing that will slow his roll, but then Shawn won’t be happy with her. “General Hospital” spoilers indicate that all of Port Charles will soon know that Jordan is an undercover cop. Julian likely won’t take this well since that means she was a CI when she was with him too. Will Jordan have any safe harbor anywhere in town?
We haven’t seen Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) lately but we will on Tuesday’s show. Sonny wants to know why Carly pulled the stunt at the Nurse’s Ball that humiliated Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Carly will explain she did it for Jake. Sonny won’t like that either since he doesn’t care for Jake. Speaking of Liz – that story line is about to get really interesting.
Liz is feeling good now that she has Jake/Jason in her life (and bed). But Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) won’t go quietly. Of course, Hayden knows that Jake is Jason but, more importantly, she knows that Liz knows and isn’t telling him. Hayden can know torment Liz and hold it over her head and it will be up to her new loverboy Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) to get her on a leash and acting right. Likely, he’ll just have to threaten her with rejection from the mansion and his wallet to shut her up.
