General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Jake Suspects Liz - Laura Tries To Tell Sam Jason Alive - Franco Protects Kiki

Here are some hot “General Hospital” spoilers for the October 5 episode of the hit ABC soap. Monday’s GH centers on strange family dynamics. Port Charles’ old guard is keeping secrets. Both Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) have knowledge that others want. Anna is playing close to the vest but Laura is ready to reveal her knowledge – if she can just get someone to listen. Anna will be crushed by guilt on two fronts today over her shooting of Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise).

First, Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) comes to Anna for answers about what happened that night on the docks. It was Sabrina, remember, that got Carlos to tell her where he was and she passed that information on to Anna who used it to kill Carlos in cold blood. Sabrina is pregnant and ready to tell Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell), but wants to know what happened to Carlos so she can have peace.

Anna will tell a BS story about Carlos getting away from her and fleeing town. Sabrina will have no choice but to accept what Anna says with no evidence to the contrary. Later, Anna picks up Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) at school and Emma talks about how Anna is her hero. This makes Anna feel horrible because she’s a murderer, not someone to be admired.

Laura is back in Port Charles with a vengeance. She wants Jake Doe (Billy Miller) to know that truth about his identity, but since Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) obviously hasn’t come clean about it, Laura decides to take a more drastic step. She knocks on Sam Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) door to tell her that her husband Jason is alive. But then Laura gets news that stops her in her tracks.

Sam tells Laura that she and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) just got engaged and Laura sees how happy the two of them are. Laura decides she can’t be the one to rip Sam out of her new life. Laura wants the truth out, but does not want to be the villain in this situation. Laura will instead turn up the pressure on Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and Liz to make them do the right thing.

Another old guard member – Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) – feels like Michael is slipping away from the Qs. Michael is full-on channeling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and it scares the hell out of Tracy. She wants him loyal to the Qs and focused on ELQ, but he’s all about the syndicate right now. Look for Michael to walk out of the Quartermaine mansion any day now and not look back.

Finally, Jake is starting to get suspicious of his fiancée Liz. They are out at Kelly’s and he tells her about hanging out with Sam on her anniversary – Liz won’t like that – and that Sam told him she was moving on with her life. He says Sam told him if Jason was alive, he would have found her by now. Except Liz knows that’s exactly what Jake was doing when he was struck by the car – trying to get back to Sam.

Liz gets a phone call that puts her on edge and has her acting strangely. Jake asks who called and Liz gets cagey about it, then changes the subject. This has Jake concerned about her actions. The guy has all the pieces floating around him about his identity and Liz’s plot, he just needs to piece them together. Jake will turn to Sam for help figuring out what Liz is up to and whether she can be trusted.

Franco (Roger Howarth) finds Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) day drinking at The Floating Rib instead of at the fictional job she told he and Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) that she has. Franco doesn’t like what he’s seeing, particularly when a guy gets carried away with Kiki. Franco threatens the dude and says “keep your hands off my daughter.” That drops Kiki’s jaw and will even surprise Franco.

Turns out Franco is still very attached to Kiki in a paternal way and wants to protect her and pull her out of the spiral she’s in. Will Franco and Nina settle into their new lives together and take Kiki in as a surrogate daughter? Nina loves kids and has always wanted one of her own and Kiki sure could use both a mother and father figure these days. Will they end up an odd little happy family together? Hope so!
