Ready for some GH news and gossip? Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for today’s Wednesday April 22 show. Mob action is heating up in Port Charles and the net is closing around Hayden!
Today, Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will call in Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) to consult on his Jake Barnes (Billy Miller) case. The Jackal will tell her about Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) suspicions and about the mystery man that was talking “business” with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). All that intrigue aside, Sam will ask what proof Damien has that Jake and Hayden aren’t wed.
Fast forward to Damien and Carly looking for proof by tossing Hayden and Jake’s Metro Court hotel room. Hayden will walk in on masked people in their room and then go crying to Jake that “armed men” were in their hotel room. The question is, was it just Carly and Damien undercover or was it some of Duke Lavery’s (Ian Buchanan) crew looking to take out Jake?
Plus, Commish Sloane (Grayson McCouch) will put pressure on Jake to find out who Julian Jerome (William deVry) has a hit out on and will tell him to get the goods ASAP or else. It becomes clear that the hit is on Duke. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal that Julian will confront Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) to demand to know why Duke is still vertical and breathing instead of pushing daisies.
Speaking of Duke, Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) will get a visit from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and they’ll talk about their love lives. Anna will ask how it is living with Sam and Patrick wants to know what’s up with she and Duke. Anna is coming up on a huge conflict because Duke is gunning for her CI Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) and it’s all about to come crashing down.
In fact, Duke will meet today with one of his henchmen to tell him that Jordan has to go – he’s placed a hit on a woman he knows is working for Anna! And this is just after Duke decided to tell her he still cares about her. Did seeing Sloane wet and in a towel in Anna’s room make him snap and decide to take out Anna’s asset despite the risk? Duke orders a hit on Jordan, but it won’t go down like he planned.
Meanwhile, Jordan will cozy up to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and get some sexy sack time while she’s also working on fighting against the Corinthos mob crew’s suspicions that she’s a cop. Talk about multi-tasking… Shawn will want to believe the best in her, but that won’t matter because Duke and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have Jordan in their sights.
Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) will get the news that Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) was drugged and before things get worse, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) will admit to Michael what they did. Their guilt over their sister being missing is too much for them all. Can Michael, Morgan and Kiki get past their anger to work together to find baby Avery or is the family dynamic, twisted as it was, broken for good?
And here’s an interesting piece of gossip – “General Hospital” rumor has it that Avery will turn up again sporting a bruise and a band aid. Did Silas Clay (Michael Easton) steal the baby and take bone marrow to save Ava Jerome (Maura West)? Is that why Silas knocked her out with the medication Ava thought was ending her life? Perhaps he faked doing Ava in to shoot her up with Avery’s bone marrow cells…
And Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) will get Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) message that cousin Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) needs a place to crash. Really Lulu just wants Valerie out of her house now that she caught Val cooking for and hugging on her hubby Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Of course it was innocent, but Lulu can be a real b**ch when it comes to guarding her turf (and who can blame her)?
Nikolas can’t afford to ostracize anyone since he knows once the Jake truth breaks loose, he’s going to be in a sh*t storm of trouble with a lot of Port Charles, so he needs to build good will while he can. Not only will Nikolas take Valerie in at Wyndemere, but he’ll even give her a job. This will set Valerie up for a nice long stint in Port Charles, but will it interfere with Nikolas’ sexy time with Hayden???
