Lots of “General Hospital” spoilers have leaked related to the new lead writers for this Fall on GH and coming out of the General Hospital Fan Club Weekend 2015 in LA this past weekend. We’ve picked out some choice tidbits to share with you – these are all longer range plot spoilers for Fall and early winter.
Despite all denials, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is back. When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) left for summer to direct a film, there was talk she would bring a family member back. It was assumed to be Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). But Kimberly is busy at Pretty Little Liars. Tristan will fill the void left by Anthony Geary and he may or may not arrive in Port Charles on Anna’s arm.
Finola is already back on set and filming. Anna’s focus will be to hold everyone accountable that was involved in rigging the mayoral election. That includes Mayor Lomax (Saidah Ekulona), Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and even Kyle Sloane (Grayson McCouch – role recast with Robb Derringer). Anna had promised Kyle they could discuss romance when she got back, but her prosecuting him will put a damper on that.
Also, Kyle won’t stick around for long. Whether his exit will be permanent (rumors of his death are out there) or a respite while he does some other Cassadine henchman work is not yet clear. Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) will be back in Port Charles as of early September and her sole focus will be to stir up trouble, sleep around and aggravate her parents. Wouldn’t it be fun if she went after TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond)?
There are persistent “General Hospital” rumors that Jenny Eckert is coming back and will be played by Cady McClain. There have been denials and McClain went so far as to tweet that it wasn’t happening, but that’s what actors do – they are contractually obligated to do so, in fact. They have to deny until the official announcement comes out. Jenny back makes sense as Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) is in town.
Tristan Rogers denied coming back to GH until very recently as well. Paul is back in Port Charles for no apparent reason other than to shag Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) that once. But here’s what it is – Jenny Eckert followed by their son Paul Hornsby Jr who wants to get to know his half-brother Dillon. And we learn on the August 14 episode that that Rosalie Martinez (Linda Elena Tovar) is married to a Brad Cooper [Parry Shen] .
Also coming this fall will be a major murder trial over the death of Silas Clay (Michael Easton). And as part of the trial, Denise DeMuccio will be exposed to all of Port Charles as Ava Jerome (Maura West). Prior to the trial though, another person will find out who Ava really is. Julian Jerome (William deVry) overhears Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) confront Ava and learns the truth.
And, there’s a mega rumor that Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) is not really dead and that the Rivera family could be the rival family that has been tormenting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There’s talk that Carlos’ death was just a set up and that Lily Rivera’s (Lilly Melgar) appearance on the 52nd anniversary show was an advanced foreshadow of a plot to come.
Also, rat fink Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will be locked up by Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) but the question is will it be for gaslighting Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) and scheming with Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) to steal her millions or will it be for killing Silas? Either way Ric will be behind bars and, for a change, will be the one who needs a lawyer. Woo hoo!
