Grimm returns to NBC tonight with a brand new Friday December 11, season 5 fall finale called “Wesen Nacht,” and we have your weekly recap and spoilers below. On tonight’s episode, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) might be in danger when Wesen business owners are targeted in a string of attacks being investigated by Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank. (Russell Hornsby)
On the last episode, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) were called to the scene when three Wesen went out on a hunt at a local dump and got more than they bargained for when the two turned up dead after they encountered the mythical Rat King. Meanwhile, a very badly wounded Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni)was taken to the hospital and Nick finally met Meisner (guest star Damien Puckler). Did you watch the last episode? On tonight’s episode as per the NBC synopsis, “Monroe might be in danger when Wesen business owners are targeted in a string of attacks being investigated by Nick and Hank. Meanwhile, Truble catches Nick and Adalind up on her recent activities; and Capt. Renard becomes involved in local politics when he endorses a candidate.”

#Grimm starts with a crew of bad Wesen being given addresses. He says take care of it and also anyone who gets in your way. They roll out. Trubel is having nightmares. The baby is crying and she starts awake to see Nick holding a fussy Kelly.
She’s asleep in his bed. Adalind comes in and says there’s not a lot of privacy. Adalind tells Trubel she’s glad you’re okay and says Nick was out of his mind with worry about her. She says Nick brought her home last night – she slept for 25 hours.
She’s in Nick’s shirt and Adalind says she washed her clothes. She goes to get Kelly so Nick and Trubel can talk. Trubel stands and hobbles out of the bed. Nick asks how she’s feeling. She says she’s glad to see him.
She asks about Wesen at the hospital. He says they can talk about it later and offers food. The bad Wesen pull up on a street and get out. They bust into stores and start breaking glass and knocking things over wreaking havoc.
He shopkeepers try to run but are rounded up. They are taken into the streets and surrounded. The leader woges and attacks. They leave their symbol on the wall. Trubel says they’ve been keeping track of both of them.
She says they want Grimms on their side. She says she went to take Josh home and they found her there. She says it’s HW – Hadrian’s Wall – and says they are an ultra secret part of the government. She says they’re fighting an underground war against Wesen.
She says HW needs Grimms on their side and says others have joined up. She says she worked with one in Lisbon and another in Bangkok. Adalind asks if they pay her for this and she says they do – and in cash. Nick asks about Meisner.
Nick says they met and says they both got her out of the hospital. He asks what they did with Juliette’s body but Trubel doesn’t know. She says it all happened so fast but they wouldn’t let her tell him then she got sent to do Grimm work.
Adalind asks how long they’ve been watching Nick. She tells Adalind they’re watching her too. She says they know about the baby too. She says the HW doesn’t want her kid. Nick asks about the bike and asks her to show him.
She says they gave it to her six months after she started. She shows him the special features. She says she thought she’d never see her again and he says he thought that too. They hug. She says she can’t believe he’s a dad and he says me either.
He gets a call from Hank. He says a lot of places were hit and asks him to meet him. Trubel says she’ll stay put. Wu says it’s a gang-related attack in three different neighborhoods. One shop owner was murdered, one beaten and one missing named Xavier.
They wonder why some shops were targeted and Wu says come into the bakery. He shows them the mark on the wall of the bakery and says it wasn’t anywhere else tonight. The missing baker came to Portland three years ago.
Nick says they need to find out if any of the shop owners were Wesen. Monroe and Rosalee watch the news. They are horrified since they knew the victims. They are startled by a knock at the door. It’s Bud and he’s upset.
He says he drove past his shop and came there. Bud says this means something bad. Xavier is taken to a warehouse and screams why are you doing this to me. They show him a photo of someone and he says he doesn’t know who it is. He shakes his head.
The guy woges and says don’t lie to me. The photo is of Monroe! Wu says all of the attacks were the same kind of vandalism and all the culprits wore black shirts. It also happened in Eugene and Seattle. Hank and Nick look at the mark.
Nick says Chavez’s group is fighting a Wesen uprising. Rosalee calls and asks about the attacks. Bud is there and they tell him they know all of them – they were all Wesen. They tell them about the marks on the wall.
Nick says they’re on the way and they head out. Adalind brings Trubel some coffee. Adalind says she knows that Trubel has heard bad things about her and wants to let her get to know her. Trubel asks if she’s in love with Nick.
Adalind laughs and shakes her head. She says that would be too… Trubel says they’re living together and sharing a room. Adalind says there’s no sex. She tells Trubel that Meisner saved her. She says he was with her when she gave birth to Diana.
Adalind says losing her was the worst thing that ever happened to her and thanks Trubel for trying to get her back. Trubel says she will be okay but Adalind says she must not know the royals. She asks if the organization wanted to kill Juliette.
Trubel admits she went back to the house for Juliette. She says Nick doesn’t know and Adalind says she won’t tell Nick but Trubel probably should. She goes to get Kelly when he starts crying. Nick and Hank talk to Bud, Rosalee and Monroe.
They think these are all attacks on Wesen. They wonder why they’re attacking Wesen. Monroe says Occultatum Libera. Bud says it looks like a claw mark. Wu talks to a shop owner who’s cleaning up. He shows her a photo of the mark and she says she’s never seen it.
He says it was inside the bakery but the woman goes back inside. Wu says we can’t help you if you won’t help us. He goes to look at the mark on the wall. He snaps a pic of it. The door opens and he pulls his gun. Xavier is there. He says – help me please!
Renard is filming an endorsement ad for the mayoral candidate Andrew Dixon. The director asks him to do another take and be more relaxed. He offers to take his coat off. At the spice shop, Monroe says most street riots are instigated by Wesen.
He shows them some riots in Paris in 1789. He says history thinks it’s union related but it was a Wesen uprising. Monroe says the Boxer Rebellion, Boston Tea Party and more were all Wesen. Monroe says he thinks some of them are being made an example of.
Monroe says Xavier was all about the bread. Nick gets a call from Wu who says he’s get Xavier. He says he got away but they put him at the hospital. Xavier tells them they had him blindfolded most of the time and wore black shirts.
He says the guy watching him fell asleep so he took off his hood and he hit the guy in the head with a brick and says there was a lot of blood. He says he unlocked the door then ran as far as he could. Nick shows him a pic of the mark and the guy says he doesn’t know it.
He says he can’t ID the captors or they will kill him. Nic says he knows they attacked because he’s Wesen. He woges and it’s a horrible sight – he says he’s heard about Nick. Nick says they can protect him but he has to identify them.
Wu shows him some photos. He looks at one for overlong but says he doesn’t recognize anyone. He sees the woman and then says maybe her. Back at the bakery, Meisner checks out the mark. Hank and Nick catch Renard up on the attacks on the mark.
Nick says he saw the mark at a meeting with Chavez. He says it was the night she was killed. He says it was a set up and they attacked them both. Renard says the FBI is still looking for her. He says he tried to save her but was fighting off Wesen.
He says Chavez was Wesen too. Renard says the FBI can never find out. Nick says the last thing she aid before she died was that they’re coming to Portland and “it’s war.” They IDd the girl Billie Trump for a line up. She says she won’t do a line up.
Xavier looks at them and says he’s not sure. Renard says don’t be scared, she can’t see you. Xavier panics then says it’s not her. He says he can’t do this. Renard says they have to let her go. Hank says they won’t find her again.
She asked for a lawyer and Renard says unscare the witness. At the spice shop, a bunch of Wesen meet and are in a panic over the attack. Monroe tells them to calm down. The phone rings. Rosalee grabs it and it’s Nick. She says it’s crazy here.
Rosalee says he needs her help and Monroe’s. He asks if they can come down and talk to Xavier. Nick talks to him some more but he says he wants to go home. Nick says they could come back. Then Rosalee and Monroe come in and they hug him.
Hank pulls Nick out of the room. They sit and tell him they came to talk to him. They tell him Nick is a friend and Monroe says he’s a good guy. Xavier says they want her to pick out the woman who kidnapped him. He says she’ll know and they’ll kill him.
Monroe says they can’t let them get away with hit. They tell him that group killed Ken. He doubts a Grimm will protect him and they tell him that Nick has protected them. He starts to woge in stress and they get him to stop.
Xavier agrees to help. Renard says put her in custody and use her to get to the others. Nick says they found the black shirt at her house. Nick asks about the mark. She asks if Nick is bored yet. Nick says she’s been positively IDd in a kidnapping.
They tell her she’s going down for terrorism, murder and kidnapping. Nick says she won’t get out of this one. Nick says her only chance is to make a deal. Nick says if they walk out, no deal. He says they’ll find who did this with or without her. She refuses to talk.
They tell her they know she’s Wesen. She says they must be too. She says you’re just cops. Hank says he’s a cop then points at Nick and says he’s a Grimm. She woges and is scared. She asks if he’s going to kill her and he says not in here.
Nick says give us one name. She says Dallas Cruz. Billie calls Dallas and says they put her in a lineup but let her out. She says it freaked her out and she needs to get out of town. He says – meet me at the factory. She ends the call and says it’s where we meet.
Nick says she’s taking them there and she says they can’t make her. Renard says he can and he woges and lunges at her. She’s terrified. She sketches it out and Nick asks where it is. She gives them the street location.
She tells them where to park so they won’t be seen. Meisner unlocks someone from their cell and says – you’re going outside the wire. Rosalee says she knows Dallas Cruz and says he’s a nasty piece of work. She says he likes hurting people.
Monroe asks to go along to round him up. He says they can be on the list soon too since they’re targeting Wesen. Rosalee offers to take Xavier home. Renard tells them to Hank and Nick to ride in Nick’s car and takes Monroe with him.
Rosalee drives Xavier home and she says he’s sorry he had to go through this. She says thank God you’re okay. At the warehouse, Billie points out Dallas’ truck. She says if he sees her with them, he’ll kill her. Rosalee asks Xavier how he escaped but he doesn’t want to talk about it.
He says these people are crazy with what they’re going to do. She asks what he means and he says forget it. She asks how he knows what they’re going to do. He hangs his head and cries. She asks what’s wrong. He asks why she let Monroe go with them.
She says tell me what’s going on. She screams at him. He says they made me do it. He says he didn’t have a choice. She swings the car around and asks if he set them out. He says he’s sorry. She punches him in the face.
Nick says Billie doesn’t seem too worried and asks what’s going on. Monroe’s phone rings and he takes the call. She says it’s a trap and says Xavier set them up. Billie screams, they know. Nick and the others head inside and shut and barricade the door.
Monroe says there’s a lot of them. Then he’s attacked. Xavier tries to get out of the car but Rosalee slams his face into the dash. They fight their way into a room. Monroe says they got to Xavier. Then the hear the blackshirts start screaming.
Renard asks what the hell is going on. They hear shots. Nick says he’s going out. He says bolt the door behind me and walks out. There are blackshirts down all over. He hears one gasping. Then a man attacks him and comes at him with a pipe.
It’s Dallas who is moved with magic up and then slammed back down. He sees a woman in the shadows. She steps forward. It’s Juliette. She’s in a short white blond wig. She walks out without speaking a word.
