Bye Bye Randy. Hated to see you go but you know there was good cause for why you left. Unfortunately for Randy, he refused to own up to his own mistakes and in the end that cost him everything. For Chef Ramsey decided to send him home despite being on the winning.

So on tonight’s all new episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” accountability is the name of the game and the real question is how many will be able to handle that?

With seven chefs still in the competition, one particular chef grows more nervous by the day. Josh has usually been jittery and high-strung but behind the scenes after the last elimination – Megan (an opposing contestant) had to literally tell him to snap out of it. He appeared to be close to working himself into a state. And you know it must have been a worrisome sight if a Blue team member came to check on him meanwhile the rest of her team were laughing chose to laugh at him.

It was petty of them to laugh but to be fair Milly and Nick have had their own fair share of problems with Josh. And when the shoe was on the other foot – Josh took the opportunity to rub as much salt in the wound as he could.

However the Steak/Key challenge was definitely one way to prove who the stronger cook in the kitchen was. And as it turns out the girls had an easier time than the guys.

The first challenge called for each of the contestants to find a key that might, just might, open a locker that holds the steak they’ll have to cook. And while the guys all got their steaks long before Michelle – Michelle still ended up as the winner with her Flank steak. Mind you the Flank steak is considered to be on the lowest totem pole yet Michelle somehow rocked it.

T and Megan’s dishes came close to beating her but everyone else had either overcooked or undercooked their steaks. And so later it was Michelle’s dish that was chosen to be part of the dinner menu. Though that eventually caused problems in the Red kitchen.

While they were enjoying the perks of winning the challenge, the Red team were all happy and laughing together. Yet that suddenly changed when they all got back to working in the kitchen. And though I hate to say it – Michelle looked like the problem this time.

It seems she had a certain way to do things and so when she saw Josh cutting the pepper the way he cuts pepper – she kept trying to oversee his every action. So that caused tension between them. And it made Michelle come off as the annoying girl T has been complaining about.

And in case you’re wondering the night did not get improve for the Red team.

The Blue team were consistent in sending out appetizers while Michelle was the first to mess up on her team. Then even as Nick messed up his fish – at least he didn’t give the Chef raw pieces of meat and fish that were still cold in the middle. That was Alison who was then incredibly embarrassed.

She had control of two stations. Both meat and fish. And she couldn’t keep up with both. So ultimately she turned to her team members and asked them if they could help her.

Which was a major concession on her but Allison knew that was what was needed in order to save the night. Now if only the rest of her team could have been as humble? Because Josh and Michelle both lent a hand and all of them still ruined the dinner service.

See Josh likes to think he knows what he’s doing, all the time, and if anyone disagrees with that he then gets into a shouting match with them. Like he did with Michelle and like he did with T. Only T wasn’t having it.

Thus she stopped communicating with him just so that she wouldn’t get into a big fight with him and Ramsey was taking not of everyone.

The Blue team finished their service first and so they were rewarded with black jackets. And then they were asked to go into the Red kitchen. Apparently the fish was still coming out raw and Josh was all over the place.

So dinner was eventually served but the Red team were frustrated and they hated watching the black jackets do “their” work. And Chef Ramsay didn’t just leave it there. He also gave the Black jackets permission to nominate someone from the Red team for elimination.

And for that process, everything had to come under consideration.

From Josh’s behavior to Michelle’s “mean” tone and Allison’s complete failure on tonight’s dinner service. So two people were put up for elimination and they were Allison and Josh. And instead of picking Josh, Ramsay chose to send Allison home.

He say she didn’t have a strong enough voice.

On Part of tonight’s two hour episode, six chefs remain and one of them has an attitude. Josh was still upset about the whole up for elimination. And instead of getting an argument this time – the rest of the chefs stuck to ignoring/making fun of him. Thus denying him the reaction he truly wanted.

And later during the challenge, Josh still remained the outcast of the group. Chef Ramsay had asked the chefs to pair up for his “Taste it Now Make it” challenge and Megan ended up with Josh because they were the only two left. So in actuality Josh was left with the one person he couldn’t shout at.

By then everyone knew how scary Megan was.

So Josh did find the perfect partner and they were able to work together without any problems. But did they win? The answer to that is no seeing as they got the protein wrong. They chose Halibut when they should have cooked with Sea Bass.

And T and Milly were also a great team but they chose to cook their Sea Bass in sake rather than soy sauce.

Hence the winners were Michelle and Nick. Michelle and Nick chose each other because they were good friends behind the scenes and that went onto work in their favor. And while those two were enjoying their day out, the other guys found out they were going to be participate in a food drive.

They were supposed to boxed meals but for some reason Josh chose to ignore everyone within his vicinity. He barely worked when it came time to cook the meals and earlier he kept playing around when the rest of them were trying to recycle the trash. So did he snap or has the black jacket made him no longer care about his attitude?

If anything, Josh only got worse during dinner prep. He and Milly had been butting heads from before but when Milly started to call him “Uncle Randy” – that’s when the two nearly came to blows. “Uncle Randy” became the term for someone asked the same question over and over again. So Josh took offence he was being referred to someone that was sent home.

And luckily the other chefs stepped in to keep the argument from escalating.

Ultimately the black jacket means that all the chefs were going to be cooking once again in the same kitchen. So whether they liked each or not shouldn’t matter when it came to dinner service. In the end, they have to back each other up.

And sadly Michelle continued to be flustered in the kitchen. Which meant on this night that Megan was also getting into trouble with her.

Twice Michelle made a mistake and because of that Megan got a warning as well.

But what was probably one of the hardest things to swallow was when the VIP table was also judging them. Tatum O’Neal and her son had come for dinner and for some unexplained reason they believed themselves to be experts in how a dish should be plated. And according to them, the black jackets could have been neater. Also one dish was just ruled off as mediocre.

Then there was a mini-fire in the kitchen. Josh had gotten frazzled and he forgot how to turn down the heat on the stove. So the fire roared up and Megan was thankfully nearby to keep it from getting out of hand. However Josh was proven to be the biggest train wreck.

He blatantly chooses to ignore everyone in the kitchen although they’re supposed to be working in tandem and he kept undercooking his meat. Ms. O’Neal sent her Wellington back when she found it to be too rare for her taste. Now that can be diva behavior on her part or it could be a mark against Josh.

All that had been deliberated on after the black jackets finished their dinner service. And though he tried to fight his position, Josh was one of the two that were put up for elimination.

It was him vs Michelle. And Michelle knew how to argue her case. She said she wasn’t as frazzled as Josh often is and that she knew more than him.

And everything she saw was true. So Ramsay chose to send Josh home tonight. He left on a good dinner service and Ramsay actually looked upset to send him home.

THE END!
