#HouseOfLies starts with Marty telling a new company that they’re going to have a legacy. He tells them that they don’t run from competition, they crush it and leave it to be devoured. We see the clients are thinking how genius Marty is and what he did for Gage. The board claps their hands and tell him they’re impressed. Marty says they’re off the shit list and back to big balling. He says it doesn’t even matter what he says any more, they just all want a piece of him. Marty says today is payday motherf-r.

He says they will get 11 million today and says it’s the hole grail, the ultimate score that puts them out of the woods and into the light. Marty says payday is also payback today and says they’re kicking out these 20 year old assholes who are cluttering up their offices. He says he’s going to pick up some associates and work them to death. He says business as usual.

Kelsey talks to Doug and Clyde. Doug is obsessing over what take out they order. He says they want to remember when it all began and need to look back on the right lunch. Clyde says he has to go pick up his asshole father and Kelsey tells Doug to order whatever takeout he wants. Jeannie comes to see Marty and says she’s huge. He says she’s exactly where she should be. She says she really wants to stay with the company. Marty says no.

Jeannie says she needs to stay until she’s a little less pregnant so she can get hired somewhere. Marty says no and she says she needs him to hear her. Jeannie says she needs two minutes of him hearing her and not being a shaming asshole. He says two minutes and tells her to go. Jeannie says she needs him to stop and he’s still being a motherf-ing asshole. He says he’s trying but she’s in tears. She asks if he’s forgotten she’s a 50% shareholder in this company and he asks if she forgot she sent him to prison.

She says it was a virtually unforgivable mistake and she says he’s done plenty of unforgivable things. He says the people he did those things to still haven’t forgiven him. She says she may buy him out. Doug comes in and says it looks like pain and anger. He says the wire transfer from Gage should be in by the end of the day. Jeannie tells Marty that she’s not leaving and he can serve her papers but she’s a 50% shareholder and he’s a felon.

Clyde drives his father Harvey from the airport and complains about his dad’s cat. His dad says it’s a service cat and Clyde sneezes. He offers to put his dad in a hotel and his dad rants. His dad says after all their people have been through and Clyde says they didn’t need to get to the Holocaust that fast. Harvey says he has stage four pancreatic cancer and has weeks to live not months. Marty calls Gage to ask where the wire transfer is and says he’s sure it’s just a clerical error.

Malcolm tells Marty he found something in Roscoe’s room. He says he has close to $20k laying around. Marty asks why he was going through Roscoe’s room and he says he was just keeping an eye on him. Kelsey shows Doug the app and he tells her he went to Harvard. She says she knows and says he doesn’t need to try so hard. She tells him she already likes him.

Clyde is annoyed because the cat peed. Harvey then says he’s going to be dead in a month or two and wants to be with him. Clyde is nauseous and has to put the window down. His dad complains then puts his window down too. Then Harvey starts to pack a pipe and Clyde asks him not to smoke in his car. Kelsey shows Doug phase two and says this will get more early adopters. He asks what that is and says something is too geeky even for him.

She adjusts an image and he says it’s perfect. She asks if he likes it when a girl licks his ass. He’s flummoxed and then grabs her and kisses her. They make out and start undressing each other. Marty calls Ellis again then Roscoe comes in. He tosses the stack of cash at Roscoe and asks if he’s selling drugs. Roscoe says he’s selling bags. Marty thinks he means bags of drugs but he clarifies that he means purses.

After, Kelsey pulls her panties back up and goes back to her coding. Doug says that was incredible and magical. He asks if she wants to talk about it but Kelsey says she’s good then says they should talk fee structure. He gets a little cuddly then goes to get them soup and sake. Marty asks him to explain. He says he gets them from a place 10 blocks away and sells them. Marty asks if it’s illegal and asks if the people he’s selling to know they’re knock offs. Then he tells Roscoe he has to stop it and he says okay. Marty says he’s on probation and Roscoe says he’s making it about him.

Marty says he’s using his guilt about getting sent to prison on him. Marty says he won’t make him give the money back but says he has to stop selling. He tells Roscoe it was a good move to see a piece of business and go after it. Marty goes to call Ellis again and hears that the mailbox is full. He calls again and Ellis asks if he’s Facebook stalking him. Marty asks when the money is coming and Ellis says they put Marty on the map again.

Ellis pretty much says that he can’t afford to sue him. He says he’s welcome for him putting them back on the map again then hangs up on a cursing Marty. They go to Gage and see that Monica is there. Doug says we want the money they owe them. Marty says he gets that Ellis is the big man. Monica says she knows he can’t try and litigate it. Jeannie threatens to beat Ellis. Then Marty plays the friendship card and Ellis says he manufactured it to get his business.

Marty then threatens Monica and then we see a flashback to her visiting Marty in prison and trying to give him a handy j until the guard calls him off. She tells him she’s taking Roscoe around with her but he says Roscoe has school. He says he can’t be rolling around doing E with his mom. Marty says she could take him to do something normal like a movie. He calls her an addict, sociopath and unfit parents. She says Roscoe loves fashion and going to fashion week would get his mind off Marty being in jail. Monica says the next olive branch will go up his ass.

Jeannie goes off on Monica and then Marty tells her to come on. Jeannie punches her in the face and Clyde and Marty high five. Monica says she broke her nose and Clyde says he’s so turned on right now. Doug says he is too. Marty says they’re going to make these motherf-rs bleed. Jeannie says he said “we” but he denies saying that. Ellis watches all this in horror.
