Jennifer Garner Dating Rebound With Boyfriend Michael Vartan After Ben Affleck Divorce

Expect more denials from the Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck camp on this latest twist in their divorce dilemma, but it looks like Jennifer Garner is rebounding with her Alias costar Michael Vartan (and maybe another hunk too!). The National Enquirer reports that “Michael’s been a total rock for Jen throughout this whole nightmare. They both know exactly how the other feels.”

Michael Vartan broke up with his wife this time last year so he’s on the market and we know he and Jennifer Garner have great chemistry. Anyone who’s seen them on Alias – or canoodling while they were dating from 2003 to 2004, prior to Jennifer getting hitched to Ben Affleck – can see that their attraction was palpable. And this is not the first time she’s turned to her ex sweetie.

When Jennifer Garner’s marriage to Scott Foley (Scandal, Felicity) back in 2003, she took up with her then-costar Michael Vartan who she already knew from the set of Alias. There was also talk at the time that Garner had been hooking up with Vartan prior to her split from Scott Foley and that she was cheating with Vartan on set.

Scott Foley spoke up to say that Jennifer Garner’s fame was the issue in their divorce and told People Magazine “Nobody else was involved.” But Jen may have started with Vartan as her marriage to Scott Foley was ending and has done the same as her marriage to Ben is breaking up. Rumors have linked Garner to Vartan back as far as June when Affleck and Garner were still denying the split.

But it looks like Michael Vartan may have been just a platonic buddy until their split became official. In fact, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were talking reconciliation until she found out he cheated with naughty nanny Christine Ouzounian right under Jennifer’s nose. But now that Jennifer and Ben are officially divorcing, it’s a green light for Jennifer to start dating again – either with Vartan or another guy.

There is also talk that Jennifer Garner may be getting cozy on the set of her new movie Miracles from Heaven with hunky New Zealand-born costar Martin Henderson. In addition to being recently added to the permanent cast of Grey’s Anatomy, Martin Henderson is also known for being one of Demi Moore’s boy toys. Seems like going from out of control Demi Moore to uber controlling Jennifer Garner would be quite the switch up for Henderson.

But, then again, maybe Jennifer’s controlling ways only came into play because Ben Affleck was so out of control with his drinking and gambling. What’s clear is that Jennifer Garner isn’t going to sit around pining for Ben Affleck now that the two have decided on divorce. Maybe Jen is sowing wild oats with both Michael Vartan and Martin Henderson.

Jennifer is determined to let Ben know she doesn’t need him and that she can easily land a new love interest – and both of her guys are well-respected actors, unlike the media thirsty ex-nanny Christine Ouzounian that Ben has been seen out with since the divorce announcement. If anyone’s keeping score, it’s Jennifer 2, Ben 0.
