Congratulations! Singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake, and his wife Jessica Biel, have welcomed their first child together. Reps confirmed that Biel gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Silas Randall Timberlake.
The name has some significance to Timberlake’s family history. Silas was the middle name of Justin Timberlake’s grandfather Bill Bomar, who unfortunately passed away in 2012, and Randall is Justin’s own middle name, and also the first name of his father. How cool!
The superstar couple kept their exciting news hidden until Timberlake confirmed that the two were expecting a baby together via Instagram, on his birthday, in January. He wrote “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT,” accompanied by a photo of himself kissing Biel’s baby bump.
On March 29, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Timberlake accepted the innovator award and shared his excitement about being a father. He exclaimed, “I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet. Daddy’s heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on!”
