Kate Gosselin, star of TLC’s Kate Plus Eight (formerly Jon and Kate), is under fire again for abusing and neglecting her eight children. Kate Gosselin’s parenting techniques have always been questionable – she has lashed out at her kids more than once in public and on camera, and it’s no secret that she spanks her kids with a wooden spoon. Kate Gosselin wasn’t exactly in the running for any “Mother of The Year” awards, but according to a new report, she may be an even worse mother than we thought!
According to a new report from Radar Online, Jon Gosselin filed papers in court against Kate in 2010 when they were battling over custody and visitation of their kids. And some of the never-before-seen details in the documents filed in civil court of Berks County, Pennsylvania are downright disturbing. Not only does Jon Gosselin reveal that Kate spanked their children on a regular basis, but he actually cited an incident where he found bruises and welts on his daughter Leah from a brutal beating she received from Kate.
The grievances against Kate Gosselin didn’t stop there – in the court documents obtained by Radar, Jon accused his ex-wife of neglect and states specific dates that Kate sent her kids outside in temperatures below 40 degrees – without even a coat. Jon went on to allege that Kate didn’t properly clothe the kids and left them dirty on a regular basis.
Kate Gosselin seems to get a lot of leeway when it comes to her parenting, just because of the fact that she is raising eight kids by herself – not that that is really an acceptable excuse. If Jon Gosselin was truly that concerned about his kids’ well-being, you would think that he would get his life together and try to get custody of his kids instead of sleeping on his friends’ couches and looking for girls on dating websites.
