Kate Middleton Devastated: Prince George Prefers Prince William

Kate Middleton is devastated? Does Prince George prefer spending time with Prince William? Duchess Kate eschews the traditional let-the-nanny raise the children attitude. The Royal couple does employ a nanny, but the Duchess of Cambridge has made it clear – Prince George and Princess Charlotte will not be handed off when Mummy and Daddy are around.

Does the third-in-line to the throne prefer spending time with the second-in-line to the throne than with Princess Kate? A friend of Duchess Kate’s nanny told OK! that the very second Prince William walks through the door George happily runs off to play with dad. “Kate might as well be invisible!” the source revealed.

Perhaps Prince George runs into Daddy’s arms because the almost three-year-old prince spends all day with Duchess Kate. The Royal nanny’s friend divulged that Kate Middleton “works tirelessly to keep George entertained.” The Duchess teaches Prince George new things every day and reads to him every night.

Maybe Princess Kate and Princes George are spending a little too much time together? Might it be that the little prince needs time away from Mum? Prince George heads off for half-days at the Westacre Montessori Nursery School in late January. George just might arrive home from a day at nursery school and go running for Mummy.

Prince William is a very hands-on father and it stands to reason the future King’s son adores him. The Duchess shouldn’t be devastated or jealous that George wants to spend time with Prince William whenever the Duke is home. Little boys love spending time with their daddies, don’t they? If Duchess Kate’s goal is for George and Charlotte to be raised as “normally as possible,” isn’t George being thrilled to see William just part of being normal?

A rambunctious little boy has a lot of energy and can tire out the most active of adults. Kate Middleton should be grateful George gleefully goes running for the Duke of Cambridge. It must give the Duchess a break – and more time with Princess Charlotte.
